This was a hard watch all the way around. Purdy's passes hitting wide open receivers in stride, or falling perfectly between coverage. Dak's passes were behind, low, leading receivers out of bounds, or into double coverage. 49ers running backs found creases, Dallas running backs got stonewalled. The 49ers got pressure, while the Cowboys crumbled under it.
Shanahan called plays, while McCarthy was calling for takeout. The 49ers executed with physicality, the Cowboys squandered their few opportunities on the way to getting punked in primetime. In my wildest dreams I did not envision an embarrassing butt kicking like we received tonight. I was ashamed, I can only hope that everyone affiliated with this organization, are feeling the same way.

Damn, this was embarrassing

Daks long throws off target overthrew the receiver on int and not on target on sideline throws

They have talent on this team, especially on Defense.
We have what I believe to be the best DC in the nfl, if he is not he is close.

Gilmore is no longer the Gilmore of old.
He is routinely a step, or more, behind any decent WR.
He might still have the heart and the intelligence but his body is not keeping up.
Simply put he is a liability.

As odd as it may seem. The Run Defense was not the issue tonight.
Prior to the game getting away in the third, the 49ers had just over 100 yards.
Now to be fair their passing game was working well enough they did not need to worry about it
but Don't want to hear about the running d being terrible for this games loss.

Two good games.
Two Crap games.
We are a .500 team. Reminds me of some previous HCs.

Mike Mcarthy needs to decide what he wants.
If he wants a ball control offense that takes long drives and TOP...that is fine but you
better call the right plays and you better hope the other teams not scoring. His ball control offense and the attacking D works great when Dalls is ahead. It is a disaster when Dallas gets behind because they don't throw i tlike they used to and if they try it will be INTs.
I said it right after 49s scored and Dallas was going back out. I said, the will try forcing the ball and get INTs. One player later the first INT happened...

This team is just not ready to beat the Eagles and/or 49ers whether that be in the regular season or the playoffs.

I think some of the coaches are good A few that need replaced and we need a fresh OC and offensive strategy. Find a way to be fresh. Find a way to score in the red zone.

Lot more I would like to post. However took my nightly pill so I am getting tired and loppy feeling.

So give your rants and raves to get the anger out.
Just please keep it within the rules.
I don’t disagree
However they are 3-2 not 2-2?
Doesn’t change what you are saying but this was a classic 100% butt kicking - all the credit to the 49ers - none to Dallas . This team continues to eat the cheese - talk tough and crumble under any sort of physicality ..
Parsons isn’t LT
Dak isn’t even Danny White
Pollard isn’t a number 1
The o line is overrated
Lotsa flash - no substance
Still ultimately comes down to ownership
And a culture that’s been developed over the past 28+ years .
I’ve been a fan of the cowboys going back 5 decades and I am almost numb to what they have become . It sucks … I just say oh well and move on … as a fan I shouldn’t have to feel
That way … but as a person - I have to or my health would suck

Dak was exposed, MM and coaches were exposed....Its not going to get better unless we get some type of young coach like Kyle Shannahan or someone else who can bring this team into the current football century...MM brings nothing to the table...all our coaches need to go! We need speed...Cee Dee shouldnt be shut out every time we play a good team....our offense come sto a complete stop...We need to over hall because this current team cant cut it....

This team has plenty of hype, exposure, and noise. But when the lights shine brightest, they shrink.

That didn't just start this year. It's a pattern that pre-dates the current coach and QB. I wonder who/what could be the underlying problem?

Cooks was supposed to be the #2 to take the coverage away from CeeDee. For whatever reason that is not happening. The Cowboys do not have a vertical passing game and the reason is what we saw tonight. Dak is not accurate enough to get the ball downfield. He took several shots tonight that I recall. One to Cooks that went out of bounds. Another to Cooks that was overthrown and intercepted. And I think he threw one or two to Gallup down the sidelines and both were off target and incomplete. You can't have a vertical passing game if your QB is not accurate. Look at how Purdy was dropping passes over the LBs and underneath the DBs hitting receivers in stride. Dak can't do that. It kills the passing game and ends drives. Cooks still has game but his game does not match Dak's. Dak's first pass was to a wide open TE and it was over his head by about 3 feet. That should have told us what kind of night it was going to be.

But it wasn't just Dak who was at fault. The defense gave up 21 points in the first half and it could have been 28 if not for a play by Lewis to take the ball away from McCaffery on the 1 yard line. And how many points would the defense have given up if the 49ers didn't take their foot off the gas peddle at the end of the third quarter.

There are some guys on defense who are not getting it done, but I also blame Quinn for his game planning. He has guys running stunts and other gimmicks on first down and SF exploited that multiple times. Quinn had Parsons lined up against Trent Williams almost the entire game instead of allowing Parsons to play against the 49ers weaker OT. Quinn allowed Parsons get get beaten up tonight and that is inexcusable.

Pittsburgh, Arizona, LA Rams, and even the Giants had more 1st downs against the 49ers than Dallas did. The Rams had 28 first downs against the 49ers. The Rams, Giants, and Cardinals don't have better players than Dallas. Tonight's loss was about coaching more than anything. The 49ers know how to game plan on both offense and defense. They abused the Cowboys tonight. They wanted it more.

Dak threw 3 INTs tonight and all 3 were his fault. The last one surprised the defender who appeared shocked that Dak threw the ball right to him. It was the only receiver Dak hit in stride all night.

Team is average, can beat up on crap teams. Offense sucks and defense is inconsistent and overrated.

Truth hurts but this team will probably get bounced quick even if they make the playoffs.

This game shows our stats always mean nothing.teams are able to find consistent holes in both offense and Defense and we have not been able to overcome it.even if we somehow make the playoffs it will be one and done.the sad part is we are stuck with Dak for one more year.

McCarthy says put this loss on him, it starts with him. Dak said the loss was very humbling. Guess what guys the 49ers could have hung 60 on us easy and there wasn't a damn thing we could do about it  anybody else tired of seeing our guys standing tall at the podium after an embarrassing loss, saying "this one's on me" "put this one on me" most of us fans are well aware of who to blame:mad:

Relax. Just one game. The Cowboys are one of the best teams in the NFC. Two shots at Philly, they are beatable, win the division, get into the playoffs, win some games. Of Course, beating the Chargers this weekend is a must. Philly has ever lost to the Jets, ever, and probably won’t this weekend. Three games behind them with 11 to go is a tough task. The sky is not falling.

It doesn't matter how many Chargers, Commanders, or Giants victories you nail to the trophy wall. This year, in the NFC, it's about beating SF & PHI. If you can't do that, you're just limping through another season, trying to keep the company profitable, dreaming of what could be, and thinking about possible glory next year. After tonight, it's pretty clear where this team sits.

The culture in Dallas is not conducive to winning championships. Bring in all the talent you like but treating them like rock stars, and making Dak Prescott the Sleepnumber/blockchain.com celebrity when he's won next to nothing, only makes your team think they are better than they actually are. It also leads to teams like San Fran punking you not once, not twice, but three times in 20 months.

But if the Cowboys get another wild card bid - newsflash, they're not winning the division - and they whoop Tampa Bay again in the wild card round, the same fan boys will be all over playing the Niners again. They'll talk themselves into believing it'll be different this time. Me? I'll bet on the 49ers again and at least make some cash off another, predictable, Cowboys playoff flop.

Pretty much summed up my takeaways as well.

Just a brutal beatdown. At least we won’t have to hear them thumping their own chests for awhile.

That is the kind of butt whooping that lingers. I would be shocked if we don’t get crushed in LA next week.
