IDK. What team does anyone envision beating the Niners this year?

Dallas ran into a buzzsaw tonight. Totally non-competitive. I pity the rest of the teams on the SF schedule. PHI is going to be in for a rude awakening next weekend.
20-0 is a very real possibility. Could be watching history in the making. Eventually, someone will match the 72 Dolphins, that’s a mathematical certainty.

You could tell Shanahan installed that first touchdown. They knew they found a total weakness in our defense, it was a great play. I knew we were in for trouble .
Purdy threw surgical strikes into 1 foot windows. We will see that again next week in spades.
We are not capable of those throws or anything close.
Their OL has flawless technique, you heard them say SF goes over every play dozens of times in practice until EVERYBODY knows there role .
We do not.

We need HC, OC, Position coaches AND QB.
Get it done Jerry.

Shanahan should have run it up on them like Buddy Ryan did. Then if they cried say what Buddy said, "well stop us" or something like that.

A couple of plays sum up the offense for me, Dak throwing it 5 feet over Ferguson's head on his first pass and throwing the ball out of bounds when Cooks is matched up on a LB one on one. Not sure why he is holding that ball for so long, you have your fastest WR vs a LB, so let it fly.

They have talent on this team, especially on Defense.
We have what I believe to be the best DC in the nfl, if he is not he is close.

Gilmore is no longer the Gilmore of old.
He is routinely a step, or more, behind any decent WR.
He might still have the heart and the intelligence but his body is not keeping up.
Simply put he is a liability.

As odd as it may seem. The Run Defense was not the issue tonight.
Prior to the game getting away in the third, the 49ers had just over 100 yards.
Now to be fair their passing game was working well enough they did not need to worry about it
but Don't want to hear about the running d being terrible for this games loss.

Two good games.
Two Crap games.
We are a .500 team. Reminds me of some previous HCs.

Mike Mcarthy needs to decide what he wants.
If he wants a ball control offense that takes long drives and TOP...that is fine but you
better call the right plays and you better hope the other teams not scoring. His ball control offense and the attacking D works great when Dalls is ahead. It is a disaster when Dallas gets behind because they don't throw i tlike they used to and if they try it will be INTs.
I said it right after 49s scored and Dallas was going back out. I said, the will try forcing the ball and get INTs. One player later the first INT happened...

This team is just not ready to beat the Eagles and/or 49ers whether that be in the regular season or the playoffs.

I think some of the coaches are good A few that need replaced and we need a fresh OC and offensive strategy. Find a way to be fresh. Find a way to score in the red zone.

Lot more I would like to post. However took my nightly pill so I am getting tired and loppy feeling.

So give your rants and raves to get the anger out.
Just please keep it within the rules.
For one they have started believing the media hype. Secondly we were out coached, schemed. Look at most of the successful teams right now, they have a young dynamic coach that the game hasn't passed by. Then there is Dak, a great person, but will always be mediocre, can't read defenses, hit receivers in stride. How many passes could be so much more if the pass were six inches further, or just not so high the receivers put themselves in jeopardy trying to make a play?

The Cowboys got curb stomped. Weaknesses abound on both sides of the ball. If a coach can't get his troops up for a game like this then there is no helping him. Looking at both coordinators especially. What a disappointing group we have here. no fire in their collective bellies. Whelp, let's see how they bounce back because football season just began.

Philly and KC can beat SF right now. I’m not saying they will but they’re built to beat the 49ers style of play.
Philly is just as physical. Very similar makeup with hard nosed players.
KC has the best QB in the game with a top group of skilled position players. Throw a helluva offensive coach in there too.

The game was over in the 3rd quarter.
I did type some earlier but I had to get it in as my
night meds are kicking and I get too loopy.

ONE MORE GRIPE

Do the niners hate us so much that they would not finish with fifty points?
LOL. I think they were trying for 49.
It was over in the first half.

We are watching the same movie every year. It finishes the same way every time. Jerry has accomplished greatness from this standpoint....keeping a .500 team relevant and "in the mix" every year for 20 plus years. Snake oil success at its best. Wasn't even mad last night. This was expected. Until I see this team play a team of quality like San Fran and straight up beat them to make me raise my eye brow like there might be some legit change of the movie ending then I just tune in, watch and move on. Being relevant every year is not fun its fodder and fools gold. A good team that will only make it deep this year if someone else knocks off San Fran for us and we get lucky down the stretch.

I agree ..Sad to say but I didn't even watch the game. Used to be excited to watch the Cowboys and it's just not that fun anymore
It's still great to watch us beat some scrub team, but in the back of your mind, you know what will happen if we played a really good team. And you are keenly aware that at the end of the day, it's going to be another year without a ring.

After watching this team yesterday, we'd have to be really, really, really lucky.

Dallas can beat almost everyone in a weak NFC when they play their best. Eagles knocking off San Fran with Dallas beating Philly if they play their best seems like a reasonable path. San Fran is deep on both sides of the ball right now and Shanahan looks like he's on a mission to stick it to everyone. He knew they could have won it all last year it wasn't for fluke injury stuff in the NFC championship game. His body language looks like he's still PO'd about it. He is all business right now.

However, backing into the Super Bowl by luck is not what I hold dear to my heart. I would rather have a clash of titans with a loss rather than this facade of a team.
