I think Brian Winters will be a very good guard in this league.

That is not a very bold prediction.

He is another starter you could get in the second.

This is inevitable. There will be knee jerk reactions in abundance.

Warford from Kentucky. Actually,...my favorite O lineman in the entire draft is C Brian schwenke from Cal.

Check it out. Looks pretty dominant....

I prefer Schwenke to Frederick as a Center and believe you me,....I bleed Badger Red like nobodies business. Although I do think Frederick will be a better guard then a center. Was way more impressed by him the year before last when he was at guard. Travis can REALLY anchor in,...tough to move out of the hole, good pop. He can be out quicked at times though.

Not me,...I was all about my boy Kevin Zeitler. Knew he would be good right off the bat. And he was. Everyone thought he was a mid 2nd round guy,....ended up sneaking into late round one to the Bengals.

Actually,...its even worse than that. From what I hear they are ALL BUMS after pick 17! Picks 1-17 are all surefire all pro players regardless of position. Started at pick 18,....they all suck. Might as well not even draft ANYONE this year!

It wasn't suppose to be bold just stating a fact. People are so hung up on these 2 players only look at 90% of the posts. It's Cooper and Warmack or bust basically. So if Vacarro or Austin are the pick its not gonna bother me or make me upset like some on this board. If people forgot week 17 both Dez and Miles got hurt and we had no one to step up and be a factor. So I'm cool if the pick is Austin even with the holes in the oline. Grab a guy in the 3rd draft a safety in the 2nd

What's it going to be then, eh?

In terms of starting quality that you can predict right now?

Not much.

Most of the top "guard" prospects you see are projections from tackle like Pugh and Winters.

The real true guards are pretty scarce in this class. Warford is the only other one I can say has real potential to start.

And people still cannot decide if he is a better guard or tackle.

Taking Long and expecting him to be a starter at guard is as much of a project as saying Fluker can flip from the left to the right and be a starting LT.

You're right. Something about getting one of the best possible players at their position just seems ridiculous.
