I watch and see the fans and players cheer as the Cowboys make plays in training camp, but in the regular season, when the Cowboys face stiff competition, those plays never materialize.
It seems to me that the Cowboys need to make it harder for Dak to succeed in training camp if they ever want him to succeed when he has to be the reason the Cowboys are better.
I think they should put Dak behind the second and third string line and make him face the Cowboys starting defense if he is ever going to overcome his tendency to choke.

Perhaps one would think getting the timing down with the guys he will actually play with is more important and especially when a new stud WR is in his first year? Also in your scenario you want the #1 Offense to go against the #1 defense but with a backup QB? How does that prepare the defense? How does this get the rest of the Offense ready? I know, just a thinly veiled bash Dak thread. Looking at your posting history, at least your bashing is consistent. It's all you do, but it's consistent. Well done. It's a "Let's do something about Dak's issues" thread.
Dak needs to be hit during the preseason if they want him to take hits in big games and still make plays. He's being paid to take the hits.
It's past time that he earns his money.

It does not matter where Dak is first, second, third, whatever, he has the Red Jersey and is untouchable. Play him in pre-season to get a sense of how the regular season will go because he can get hit in those games.

Why would you have him play with backups when the chemistry needs to be developed with the starters lol?
