All of those great plays in training camp are not the same

Like the pass I just saw to the flats to a wr or maybe it was Ferguson where in a game he would have gotten the typical two yards but because it's camp he continued to run around. I'm not a fan of our offensive plays so far, I think it's false hope on some of the plays I've seen

Dak needs to be hit during the preseason if they want him to take hits in big games and still make plays. He's being paid to take the hits.

Because his history shows that chemistry doesn't exist when the pressure is on.
They always want to accept the Super Bowl trophy early in the season, but the always have to give it back when they face real competition.
It's past time to quit pretending that Dak is elite.
If they want him to be elite, they need to at least try to make him ready for the tougher games.

Dak is what he is.
But that's the problem.
The Cowboys need to force him to fight to make plays instead of letting him play touch football in camp and then asking him to face tougher defenses that will hit him during the season.
I don't think Dak is NFL caliber. But if I am coaching and I am stuck with him I would be putting him through the fire in camp and trying to prepare him for the real games.
He's paid more than enough to take some hits.
Let him. It might make him better.

Quit pretending he’s elite but have him out there with backups is some of the weirdest logic.

Dak has never had the accuracy of a good pocket passer. At least when he was younger he was somewhat mobile and physical. Defenses would love to let Dak try and beat them with his arm.

...being at the TC last Sunday. The crowd involvement is important.

Just watching the DB's run routes and catch a difficult pass, people cheered.

Its a collective feeling, that you have to be there to understand. We're all in it together.

Still as I watched the players. THey all worked hard , catching , running, pursuing, blocking ..etc.

They understand when its game time, everything changes. Reality sets in with wand above and below.

But does Dak understand that? Apparently he's elite in two hand touch football.
In real football not so much.

Dak Prescott makes $60 million AAV

…then there is what Jerry Jones will not allow to happen.

I think you should attend training camp. You should yell your opinion at him whenever he walks within shouting range.

I get the practice hard play hard philosophy but don't forget they also have now 2 new guys on the OL to start, new WR, all new RB room except vaughn, new offensive play caller as well.
 
Bottom line: if the Cowboys refuse to coach Dak Prescott and try to make him better, this may well be the longest year ever.
This Cowboys team is not strong enough to dominate weaker teams like they have in the past. They cannot afford to go into the season hoping to carry Prescott to a playoff berth. If history holds, the NFC East will be one of the strongest divisions in the NFL; not like in the past in which it was the weakest.
This could be a one or two win season if the Cowboys depend on beating the weaker teams.
Prescott cannot simply wait for the Cowboys to win it for him.
This year, more than ever, Prescott has to make the Cowboys better if they are going g to succeed.
But if they have to carry him like every season before, I am not sure they can.
