- Looking back the KC game had its highs and lows but we came out with the W and that's all that matters.
- The focus is on the OL, and this is where the season starts to fall apart after a 3 game win streak. Zeke is suspended and Deebo is out because his back/groin. Trying to play the defending NFC champions in their house without those 2 players was going to be a problem.
- It appears that Chaz Green had a good week of practice.
- Jerome Henderson sighting, I forgot he was the Falcons assistant coach and the defense passing game coordinator.
- Already in the first quarter and Chaz is struggling. Next domino to fall is Sean Lee with his balky hamstring. That's 3 star players out vs the Falcons. 4 if you count Dan Bailey...
- The practice leading up to the PHI game was bad. It was clear that the team took the ATL loss to heart and lost a lot their confidence. This is the infamous JG sub sandwich scene.
- Cue the Dez storyline, and they show Darby pushing Dez in the endzone with what should have been a PI call and JG is pleading with the refs and the ref assigned to that sideline is called over and he says the play had no effect. What!? I was even pissed at that one. The next scene they show Dez on the sideline complaining about the refs not calling penalties.
- FWIW, the PHI game was 9-7 at the half and we were down 4 star players. Second half starts and the defense can't block the run or defend the pass anymore. Players on defense are seeing holding calls not being called against them. The offense continues to struggle without Deebo and Zeke. More of the same but against these better teams the lack of talent can't be overcome.
