sad but I think it was probably a mutual decision

The boys need to move on; they have to get the LT spot settled for years

I can see Tyron looking for a place that he has a legitimate shot at a ring

Questions of the day:

  • Draft a LT at 24?
  • Move Tyler Smith to LT?
Issue: Tyler looked like an all pro at LG. But, we saw the Cowboys suck whenever Tyron missed a game.

Tough decisions coming up. Might change the draft strategy altogether.

I am thinking this is no real surprise to both sides; and the Boys better have been planning for this

Not upset with their decision to move on. I would be shocked if they don‘t take an OL in round 1. We certainly have had success when we decide to go that route.

Tyron is deciding to move on via free agency because the Cowboys are unwilling to pay him big bucks. Tyron gave them a 1 year discount last season with hopes the Cowboys would return him the favor moving forward in 2024+. Cowboys simply don't have the money to pay him a big contract when several much younger key starters are needed to be taken care of. No matter what anyone says, it's clearly all about the money.

Absolutely no need to draft an O-Tackle in the 1st round. Many good O-Tackles should be available during Rounds 2 & 3.
