Let's see:
Lost a nice but injured LB who only played 6 games in our playoff season.
Signed a decent LB for depth.

Maybe lost a RB, but have two others on roster, plus plenty of FA's and draft---no, we don't need to overpay.

Lost a ST guy who was a good blocking WR, but clearly, we don't really care since we didn't make an effort.

Lots of teams overplayed their own guys, and lots of teams overpaying in FA frenzy. NFL history is not on their side. A team with a ton of cap space has that space because they don't have great players being paid. Who cares how much teams pay for DTs, DEs, CBs, and RBs when most of those same teams have no QB to lead them to wins.

Dallas will start the season with a good RB and experienced depth at the position.
Dallas has two starting LBs signed with Rivers as depth, and he can play. Plenty of time to sign Ro, Carter, another FA or draft a LB.

We would all love to make a splash, but history proves the big splash sells tickets, doesn't equate to wins. Dallas should work their plan, stay calm, and stay within their salary structure.

Don't panic Cowboys!

We get it. everything is fine. we don't need any top free-agents. WE GET IT. now let's see how many championships the cowboys win doing it your way.

I'm getting a little jumpy especially after seeing what Seattle did today. Beast Mode and Jimmy Graham. SMH

In fairness, They dont exactly have "top free agent $" and they HAVE done it the other way before, and it got them nothing. Drafting solid players and adding depth in FA got them a game away from the NFCC game, Cant fault them for not throwing money around. In Will we trust?

I'm totally on board with the approach they're taking, but it all depends on where they decide to set the limit for FA contracts. If they misjudge the market and set the ceiling too low, then they miss out on even the mid-tier free agents who could help the team in addition to losing their own. Maybe they've gotten a little gunshy after overcommitting to Spencer in a depressed pass rusher market the year that Seattle scooped up Bennett and Avril and won a Super Bowl.

I have to admit, I'm getting a tad on the nervous side. My saving grace is Hardy hasn't signed with any one yet.

All will be well when AP comes via trade..It's orgasmic to think of him running behind our "O" line!

How many have they won in any other way? Name some SBs won by teams that signed the top money guys in FA in the FA era? It's just history man. Every team signs free agents, and we do as well, but we aren't going from contender to the scrap heap over Murray! And the Dolphins did not become a contender by signing Suh...they sold tickets and improved, but they are still not a serious contender in their division.

Philly is making all sorts of news in free agency, but is anyone jealous of what they are doing?

It's silly to judge the Cowboys until late May.

Land Hardy and lock up Dez and I will be happy. I hope Dallas doesn't miss out on re-vamping the defense, losing bodies ATM with minimal replacements.

They won playoff game. every team in the NFC East have won the division the last 4 years. Cowboys are sitting back acting like they have won the Super Bowl. they have won nothing the last 20 years.

Who are the Seahawks big free agents these past two years?

It's ok but these minor defections are adding up. It's early but all we have so far is Rivers, who is a bum quite frankly by NFL standards. A lot of work ahead for the Cowboys front office.
