Ive never seem a game on HD before...I just finished school and am trying to find a job before the season starts so my 1st pay check can go to a HD TV and box...Can you guys tell me the difference..Someone mentioned that you can see the whole 30 yard slant. What do you mean by that? .Are the camera angles different or something? I always complain about the camera angles because we cant see how the play devolves.

true, you wont notice the difference between 720 and 1080 untell the screen is larger the 54 inches.

Well that depends on how close you sit to the screen. I generally tell people 42" is the cutoff point, but it seems nowadays even the cheaper 40" ones at Wally World are 1080p.

I definitely see a massive difference in something that's 720p or 1080i compared to 1080p. Of course I have a 61" Samsung.

On a side note: Transformers on HBO HD looks like total crap (they don't even keep the aspect ratio) compared to the HD-DVD. I hate the compression of HD on TV.

Welcome to the world of High Definition. We have a 63 inch 1080i that we have enjoyed for the last 5 years. Its a long way from that 19 inch with the rabbit eyes I started out watching the Cowboys with in 1972.
