Im always frustrated when on gang tackles no one goes for the strip, Spencer nearly got it and I think hes getting better every week.

I really think we can get consistent pressure or at least messy pockets all year thanks to Ware, Rat, and Spencer. Which really makes it tough for anyone to throw deep against this defense.(Eagles)

I like our chances against anyone in the NFC. Favre/Warner cant move and NO/GB OL cant block them.

I think Spencer was playing well this season but over the last few games he has really come on strong and looks like he has taken his game to the next level. I'm very proud of him

That was a sick strip. Just a quarter second too late.

I've never had a doubt....the guy is going to be a very, very good player for the Boys for a long time.

Love that this kid is coming around.

We have two guys that can do some damage coming from the flanks.

I also love how he goes about his business. He keeps his mouth shut and just plays football.

Hopefully our other young LB's take notes.

Wow where are the Spencer turncoats at now? I had to throw that out there.. :D

People will find something to ***** about all the time.

But, I would like to see some of those naysayers eat come crow.

Kid is stout against the run too. I've seen him break up some pass plays as well.

And if you see his interviews, he comes off as VERY humble and low-key... Very likable IMO.

It's fun to see from those of us who liked Spencer from the start. ;)

Whatever else you think about Wade, you can pretty much trust him on defensive front seven players, especially linebackers.

what a lifesaver this guy is right now. We'd be in big trouble without him. His confidence is evident too: the strips and plays he's making are just awesome. HE's at a pro bowl level right now IMO

If Im going to brag about Ray Rice I got to be honest. I didnt like Spencer his first 2 years. He won me over pretty early this year though.

I agree seems like he grew up since that offseason incident ..

The thing I love about our bookend OLBs is that they both can do it all. But they seem to have opposing styles: Spencer is more the power guy and Ware is more the speed guy. It is really nice the way each complements the other.

I'm also happy that he has started sealing the deal. He got the INT against the Skins and now the sacks have started to come.

Hopefully those two will be terrorizing the league the next 5-8 years or so.

True and add to that Ratliff coming up the middle on the rush and the Cowboys become very QB unfriendly defense. :laugh2:

I'm thrilled that Spencer is turning out to be one of the better players on defense. He's been solid all year, really, with his run defense and all that but now he's also making the big plays that he was just barely missing earlier in the year and it's turning him into quite the player.

I love to see that.
