Almost half of the roster will be in their 1st or 2nd year

I'm liking the young talent that they have and what it means for the future.

That's a well-taken point, in my humble opinion! I do believe we have a very promising nucleus of a team! :)

With yet another successful draft like what we've seen lately, there's no telling how far this team might go. ;)

If that's, somehow not quite enough for us, let's also consider the quality of the undrafted free agent signings.

I like having a young roster too, with lots of upside to develop.

But it’s also good to have some veterans mixed in who are regular season game ready now. I’m hoping the “keeping our powder dry” comments from SJ can be about a couple of veterans who could immediately help. Like a swing T or LB. Depth is always an issue in the cap NFL.

Problem is you still have boat anchors like Anthony Brown and Zeke....Tyron Smith....Terrence Steele....no studs @ DT.

We got problems.

They very well could sign a veteran tackle. They are covered at linebacker right now. They could sign Barr if they have an injury. They like Cox. Then they have Parsons, LVE, and Kearse that will play.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of last year's rookies taking that big second year leap.

If 3-4 of the 10 or so can do that, things are looking OK.

The future doesn't exist. It's just what Jerry tells us to try to deceive. Real teams don't play the future game.

I think we are plenty young. But not plenty talented. Diggs, Parsons and Cee Dee are the exceptions. The others are pieces not studs

True right now but its not unheard of that some other 2nd and 3rd year guys take a step up....Diggs was ok as a rookie but stepped up his 2nd year.

The Detroit Lions also have depth. What does depth buy them when the guys at the top aren’t a lot better than the guys at the bottom?
The Cowboys have an outstanding defense in the making in my opinion. I think that Parsons is one of the best players in the entire league and their dtackles aren't bad.

I think that they will have several studs. I think that that they have some outstanding talent in there.

Not alot and most here know we need a younger guy to show big growth, but as I said before its not unheard of for a 2nd or 3rd year guy to step up. Would love to have Aaron Donald on the team but he gets big checks from another team at the moment. you know the drill just like the Egrills there are positions you got locked down and there are ones your hoping a guy gets better.....
