Call it sunshine pumping, call it whatever you want.

But right now the Dallas Cowboys are tied for 1st in the NFC East and ALL of their losses are against AFC opponents. This will bode well for us later in the season, no doubt.

A poor showing from the defense and a few mental errors cost a W today, but alas, today's game was not, and will not be, the most important game of the season.

But this upcoming 5 game stretch before the bye week could very well be the most important 5 weeks of the year. All conference opponents, 2 of which are in the division (vs Skins, at Eagles, at Lions, vs Vikins, at Saints).

This is the Cowboys' chance to take control of the division and maybe even the conference. Now we're going to find out what this team is really made of. If we can beat both the Eagles and Commanders (which is very possible) and come out of this stretch 4-1, putting us at 6-4 overall, we will be in very good shape coming out of the bye week in my opinion. And we would also most likely be in position to claim the division title before week 17 as well.

Now is the time. Rally the troops Garrett. Get the defense in line Kiffin. Let's do this.

I would to see us play offense like this ON THE ROAD. We only seem to let everything hang out at home. Do this on the road.

I have no reputation as a sun shiner around these parts, but I see no reason we cant win these next 4 games, and give NO all they can handle in their house.

But. I think were building.......we are lucky we play in a bad division....

Il say this. If the skins beat us next week......I'm jumping off the bandwagon......

Not coherent enough for me to even really reply to.

Call it a night and hit the sack buddy.

This thread's not about going back in time, it's about if this team can build off of today's game and improve the defense and keep rolling on offense into the these next 5, very important, conference games.

This team has always played to the skill of the opponent. I've never doubted the fire power of the offense, but one thing we all know is that the Cowboys never have multiple phases of the team clicking at the same time.

So in short, they've always had the ability to beat any team, it just never happens because of stunning inconsistency.

If we could just at at 75% most of the time like we did today we can make the playoffs and do damage. But we are inconsistent

We can also lose to any team. KC, SD were winnable games and they didn't

And that's part of this team's problem. Thank God those losses were against non conference opponents though.

And this is why these next 5 game are so important- this stretch could really define the season for us. And if we can go into the bye on a positive note I'd feel a lot better about the last 6 games of the year as well. I think we have a lot of potential on both sides of the ball, and now is the time for Garrett to really put his stamp on this team.

How do they respond to this loss? These next 5 weeks will tell a lot.

And with the up and down nature of the Garrett Era you can be sure they will not win all of the next three as many here are proclaiming. How do you trust a team that continuously lets you down every time? You'll see next week that RGIII will be healed just in time to kill us.
