And with the up and down nature of the Garrett Era you can be sure they will not win all of the next three as many here are proclaiming. How do you trust a team that continuously lets you down every time? You'll see next week that RGIII will be healed just in time to kill us.

that is Cowboys timing. Like making some Qbs all pro against us and kickers cant miss.

its okay, english is rough, you said we can beat any team, we ll so far we havent done that , we beat the GIants, which is expected, we beat the rams, that was a gimme now look at the teams we lost to and do the math and than you will say "how can i delete my thread"

I can tell by your posts in this thread that "English is rough" indeed, for you apparently.

My point is, the Cowboys have shown that they have the potential to beat any team in the league, and that these next 5 weeks are going to show us what this team is made of. We're going to see if they can cash on that potential or not.

Don't hold your breath with this coaching staff/core player group.

I'm not holding my breath either way, but this is it. It's go time. These next 5 weeks are going to be crucial. Conference games. Division games. It's time for Garrett to rally these guys and get on a winning streak heading into the bye week. This could very well end up being one of the most important stretches of his career as our HC.

Our defense is toast. You can't fix something so broken at this point in the season. We cannot stop the pass at all. Even in the Giants game we got shredded and just we're saved by turnovers. You have to give them credit for them BUT the Giants are a very turnover prone team this season.

The way we lost it bugs me. Romo, taking that risk at that time in the game....he, didnt give his teams. Chance....

But. I think were building.......we are lucky we play in a bad division....

Il say this. If the skins beat us next week......I'm jumping off the bandwagon......

Jump now and don't come back. If you do , change your user name

and Dallas just showed you they cant. What more do you need. We lost to KC, a very winnable game, we beat a bad Rams team despite people trying to think they are good, and we lost to SD whos not good, and they will tell you that, and than we show up for this and still lose it due to our coach. Let me know where the proof is that you believe this offense, NOT D, can hang with any team in the NFL.

dallas says that after every loss. Than an NFL team shows up, sometimes a bad NFL team and this team collapses.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with this statement. First off our run defense is fine overall, and just because we're 5 games in doesn't mean we can't get this pass defense on track before year's end. We have proven coaches on the defensive side of the ball and they deserve the benefit of the doubt. They can get this thing fixed.

No, the next 5 games are going to show us whether they can or can't. That's my point.

I think it's now or never for Garrett and this crew. If they can perform over these next 5 weeks and come out of the bye week strong, we're going to be in good shape. If these next 5 weeks don't go so well.....then, we're going to be a desperate team during the last quarter of the year.

Nothing's changed. This team has always had the talent to play with the best. They just never do. The offense will be back to normal next week.

We need more consistency. Our offense arguably outplayed the greatest offense in the history of the game. The problem is, we also have the ability to score 6 points against the worst defense in the league. I give the offense a pass because Romo was noticeably hurt the past few weeks. He looks healthy and he outplayed the great Peyton Manning. I wish we had a little more consistency in the run game, though. The OL is young and much improved over last year. And I like our young playmakers in Dez, Beasley, even Williams and Escobar. Our offense lives and dies with Romo. Problem is, as good as he played today, it wasn't a real shocker when he threw a careless INT to seal the game.

All in all, though, I think the offense is good enough to win a championship this year. The problem is, the defense is soooooooo bad. A bad defense is the reason guys like Peyton, Rodgers, Brees (and even Brady) don't have more Super Bowls. I don't think people realize how bad our defense is and has been all season. We were all drinking the Kool Aid after we forced 6 turnovers in the season opener..... and we still let Eli throw for 450. We overestimated the street free agents we picked up on defense and we underestimated the veterans who weren't able to play this season. Also, we overlooked the potential catastrophy a sudden switch to the 4-3 could cause. Lee was elite and Carter was up and coming, and now neither are very impressive. Ware hasn't looked like a threat. We invested in two corners (draft and free agency) only to switch to a scheme that doesn't suit them. The Saints had one of the greatest offenses of all time last year and still missed the playoffs at 8-8. Fortunately for us, 8-8 is probably good enough to win the NFC East.

Colin Cowherd was saying the other day (when talking about the Browns' sudden success) that being 8-8 is the worst thing to be in football. You're not good enough to be a contender but not bad enough to get a franchise player via the draft. It's football purgatory. I just don't see us getting out of it...

Call it sunshine pumping, call it whatever you want.

But right now the Dallas Cowboys are tied for 1st in the NFC East and ALL of their losses are against AFC opponents. This will bode well for us later in the season, no doubt.

A poor showing from the defense and a few mental errors cost a W today, but alas, today's game was not, and will not be, the most important game of the season.

But this upcoming 5 game stretch before the bye week could very well be the most important 5 weeks of the year. All conference opponents, 2 of which are in the division (vs Skins, at Eagles, at Lions, vs Vikins, at Saints).

This is the Cowboys' chance to take control of the division and maybe even the conference. Now we're going to find out what this team is really made of. If we can beat both the Eagles and Commanders (which is very possible) and come out of this stretch 4-1, putting us at 6-4 overall, we will be in very good shape coming out of the bye week in my opinion. And we would also most likely be in position to claim the division title before week 17 as well.

Now is the time. Rally the troops Garrett. Get the defense in line Kiffin. Let's do this.

It's too early to talk sense. Still too many raw nerves in the fan base. I hope suicide hotlines are manned with extra volunteers tonight.

Most of you are not fans. In my supremely absolutely correct opinion.
Thanks and be quiet. :)
