Am I the only one that thinks the Commanders laid down last night on purpose JUST to spite us? I mean, I wouldn't put it past them. They hate us so much that ANY favor for us would be wrong.

Knowing them, they'll probably decide to play football next Sunday and give us a scare like always.

I think we can count on playing one of the more focused teams we have faced this week.

They missed two practices last week due to weather, they got a new GM, and they fielded questions all week about their coach...plus the Giants always own them while they almost always play well vs the Cowboys and Eagles. J Campbell said that after 5 1/2 weeks of playing really good football, they laid an egg on Monday night. He said no excuses but it was a VERY weird week and it snowballed on them in one game. But they already have had their best practices of the year this week, according to him.

As for saying they lost on purpose...well, that is nuts. But saying they will be tough this week? That is very true.

I say no chance we blow them out like that, and that you should be absolutely delighted to get a "W"...period. This is the NFL, no peewee football. I know I'm kind of speaking to the choir here, but you've been around long enough to know that pro players have pride and almost never get smoked at home in back to back games...let alone vs their most hated rival. They've looked very good the last few weeks--except for the Giants game. My guess is that that game one was the anomaly, not the previous 5 games.

No offense, I love Colt...but I have a feeling Campbell is better than both Colt and Tebow. But I'm pulling for McCoy to have a great career and win his next game!

what does this even have to do with the point I was making? bear said he believes the Skins will draft a QB. so i said let it be Tebow instead of Colt, since I am a Horns fan. I dont want one of my favorite players to end up on the Skins.....cause I dont want to root against him the way I do with Orakpo.

We had that horrific losing season under Jimmy Johnson in 1989 and went 1-15. The only team we beat that year were the Commanders. I guess Commanders fans were wondering the same thing about us.

Oh my gosh that would be terrible. Just thinking that a hometown hero QB (grew up 13 miles south of where I live here in central Texas), would go to the Commanders is just unfathomable. Hell the Skins got Sammy Baugh many years ago. Hopefully they will trade their #1 pick for a new mascot.
