By the turn-around we've made in our secondary? Granted, we haven't played a down yet, but on paper, our secondary is light years ahead of where it was. No team, in my opinion, improved any group as much as we improved our secondary.

I'm still a little bit in awe about this.

no kidding, we only had 4 corners on the roster pre-April 27th or whenever the draft was, 1 was a fringe player (Ogelsby), and the other was a rookie coming off a few snap, rookie season (Ball), and was a 7th rounder to boot

now we have 3, top 20 corners, a 1st round pick, and an underrated 5th round pick back there

I am surprised but not shocked.Pacman has the potential to make the team with the best secondary in the NFC-it was our glaring weakness but a great improvement from reeves and nate jones.

Hopefully we can help Roy out more.

But for the record, Pac Man is overrated. Makes plays, and likes to tackle, but the guy gets beat. Hes not shutdown. Hes more like a DeAngelo Hall than a Newman

Luckily for us, we've still got Newman then.

You are correct when you sit back and think about how our CB's and SS's could not stop team from getting a 1st down on 3rd and short.......yes, we have come a long ways

Not very shocking anymore. We added Pac to an already solid yet thin secondary before the draft taking a calculated risk. We got the corner we wanted in the first and perhaps a steal in Scandrick. Potential huge strength for us but not a shock at this point.

I hate to be the kill joy but we still have Roy and Hamlin isn't signed yet.

We have dramatically improved the cb's but the safeties are still a concern.

The Dallas secondary is like loaded a gun, ready to go off at any minute.

watch

I wonder what that gun will be like in December?

For at least the past 5 Seasons I have gotten my hopes up, until we start winning late in the Season, I am will not take pride in being paper champions  .

I'm quite pleased with what Dallas has done to shore up its secondary this offseason. I'm REALLY hoping out two draft picks are absolutely able to shine.

Think about it like this, While Hamlin might not be signed, he still has to play this year.

And While yes we still have Roy, our pass defense was good with Henry and Newman injured, and reeves playing second man all year.

If we could surive with Roy last year, i think we can most definatly do it this year, and thats if he doesn't improve.
