Year 1 with Dallas is remedial school.

Year 2 is can he challenge Cooper Rush.

Year 3 is when the Landry rule comes into effect.

We should probably be focusing on the more pressing concerns on the roster. Like LB and OL.

It was a good trade. But do not expect him to play this season. Only way he plays is if injuries.
He will compete with Rush next season for back up QB.
Then from there it depends upon a Dak extension. Which most likely occurs. If not during this season. But for sure by FA period next year. Unless they can stay under the cap with his cap hit, and still make other moves.

Well sure, of course you like him if you're watching his college highlights from five years ago, there's a reason he got drafted so high. Pretty much every QB drafted at the top of the first round looked great in college. But there's recent tape of him too...not a ton, but some.

You’re obviously seeing a lot of what San Francisco saw when they drafted him. Unfortunately, his NFL tape hasn’t been very good, which is why he was traded for only a fourth round pick. Better tap the brakes! Lol

I don’t have to prop up Trey because I’m critical of Dakota

IMO, some people are going to be disappointed if they are using Lance to beat Dak over the head with.

You're not alone, but he has barely been with this team and at the moment its hard to invision if he will ever be QB1. Doesn't mean Im not happy with the trade, low risk move so why not take a swing and see what they can get out of him.

No, he’s thrown less passes in his ENTIRE football career including high school than most QB’s throw in one year.
