Am I the only one who can't eat anything today until we are 7-5?

This thread cracks me up. That somebody has an issue with The Dallas Cowboys playing on TG. I love Thanksgiving. My family travels home from across the country. 25 family members in all has turned into close to 50 now. Thankfully we do have a Grand Dinning Room that seats 30 at the corporate shaped long dinning table. With an adjacent room that has an opening that makes it close to the main table we have a bar type table that is in clear view of the two flat 50" LED tvs on the wall. All the children sit near bye in the kitchen that is massive and has the buffet stlye entres and sides galore. I'm guessing the pies are still in the refrig until the dinner is completed. The only job I may have to do other than view and announce the big plays to the others is starting up the cap/coffee machine when I am ready for a little jolt with my apple and pecan and pumpkin slices. Believe me when I say I am thankful and grateful for this feast and company I mean it. I just love sitting at the bar that views the tvs....always next to my uncle who flies in from DC and loves his Commanders. I like the 6 Fs that was mentioned on the zone today. Football Family Friends Fellowship Freedom Food.

Always ate around noon to 3:00 time frame. As long as it was before the pregame came on.
Getting ready to eat now 1:10, then it will be time to head to stadium about 2:00 to 2:30.
Won't eat too much, don't want to feel stuffed for game, need room for beers.

If the team controls that much of your life I would suggest talking to a doctor about it. It's entertainment. We use to fly from CA to Texas and spend thanksgiving at the Cowboys game. I will never let the team control my eating habits. Good luck to you

This is the only day I am okay with Cowboys playing a late game. I usually don't have a problem eating dinner with the family because it is normally around 2 PM EST. Of course if it is an important divisional game then I might eat a little less and drink a little more. This year I ate bit more.

Goodness no. The Cowboys don't control my day. Or meals.

Hope they win though.

I want to be able to enjoy thanksgiving dinner with my family but I don't want to eat while the game is one and get heartburn since this game is so important. That's the bad side of being a Cowboys fan, that we can't relax on thanksgiving if we are alive for a playoff spot because the game is so important. So hopefully i can eat later on and enjoy thanksgiving dinner after we beat the raiders and move to 7-5 and put the pressure on the eagles.

Who else is waiting for the game to end before they eat dinner?? lol

looking like you may not get to eat for at least a week and a half.....
