Some moves but have involved luck. The same luck that caused Manning to get hurt the very same year Andrew Luck came out.

The same luck that Patriots found when drafting Brady in round SIX after they passed on him five other times.

Maybe the same luck that had the Seahawks drafting a QB in Rd three and getting a lead horse rb for a song and a dance from Buffalo.

You think the Niners knew exactly what they were getting when they drafted Navarro Bowman in round three. Is it possible that someone else might have been higher on there board and was taken just before?

You do realize they probably would have taken the guard who went to Carolina had they not traded the pick? Guess oline is not a point of emphasis for JG?

There is an article out today I believe that suggests Garrett's first meeting with Linehan started with a request to bring the same emphasis on the running game as the 90's teams. JG doesn't need to apologize for anything. Luck follows people who earn it.

this is sad and continued proof of lack of knowledge of the drafting positions particularly in the area we been drafting.
Other teams draft too you know and we made damn good decisions with what was handed to us. Thats making lemonade out of lemons.
But also the lack of ability to admit when something was different then what you perceived or another way of saying it
can't admit when your wrong. These are weird fans .going through life resentful ,sad very sad

This post makes little sense to me... But I think you're saying that I'm resentful and sad? Well, if that's the case I have to disagree... I'm neither resentful or sad... I'm happy as ****... my Cowboys are Rolling, My fantasy team is on a 4 game winning streak and My Michigan Wolverines actually won a game...

I guess I just get frustrated listening to "the media" and announcers portray this picture of an Oline plan. When, I think, Garrett and Jone's plan was to draft Smith. Bring in Scrub guards and take a flyer on Leary and keep Costa and Doug Free at Center and tackle. But by blind, dumb luck, the draft fell/forced them into drafting Fred and Martin and intern producing a good Oline. I think there "Plan" was Smith- DOO-doo/ leary- Costa- Livings- Free

I hate when people blame Romo/Garrett to much and I hate when they over praise.
