Amare to the Cavs a "done deal"

Pshhhhh

The Cavs are the best team in the league and unbeatable right now.

They are winning the ship anyways.

Amare or Jamison just makes sure they go undefeated in the playoffs.

Being an LA fan I thought that the Cav's would be knocked out of the eastern conference finals this year because of their lack of having a supporting cast around Lebron, now with Amare there this scares me.

I'm not, after i saw that week of beating Portland, San Antonio, and beating Utah that bad in Salt Lake without Kobe or basically Bynum, im feeling confident.

Amare made millions of Spurs fans smile with his utter stupidity in the postseason....

First, he gets fouled, then has the arrogance to do push ups before shooting the free throws......all he did was miss both free throws afterwards.

Then, he leaves the bench and gets suspended in a crucial playoff series.

His many mental mistakes have made it easy to stick him with the name "Amare Stupidmire"

The acquisition of Gasol is the Lakers version of the Cowboys acquisition of Charles Haley....it was that last vital cog that put them over the top and turned them into a dominant team.

I do have to hand it to Slate.........as much garbage as Cleveland sports teams have dumped on that city, it is good to see him so into the Cavs...of course, he could be merely a Lebron fan......and when Lebron moves on, so does Slate.

I'm a Cavs fan.

I can thank Andre Miller for that. I was a huge fan.

Just so happens the greatest player of all time was drafted number one overall by them in 2003.

Lew Alcindor wasn't drafted in 2003

You seriously think he's the greatest player of all time? He's great but he has a lot of winning and years to log before even discussing that. I'm a Laker fan and I don't even consider Kobe to be the best of all time and Lebron can't even come close to what he has accomplished already.

Slate seems to remind a person of Romo 2 Austin and how he thinks Austin is the #1 WR in the NFL. :laugh2:

lol

Lebron isnt even top 10. I'm just playing around.

I love to get people worked up about Lebron and the Lakers.

So your saying hes #11 ? :p:

I'm not sold on Amare. He has always seemed pretty lazy on the defensive end. But, he is in his prime, age wise and would help keep LeBron in Cleveland. Same thing with the Heat and Dwayne Wade if they can land him.

no mention of his constant crying about the Spurs

Only a stone MORON would label LeBron the best player ever at this point in his career... he hasn't done jack yet; to be the best ever, you have to be able to point to multiple NBA championships won, like Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan...

To even attempt to mention LeBron James in the same breath as those players is blasphemy, and proof that you haven't been a basketball fan for very long... you probably never even saw half of those players play (in fairness, I never saw Russell play either, but I sure did see the others on that list)...

OK, that's better... I was startin' to worry about you, man... :D

Who knows, maybe some day he'll belong in the best ever conversation...

This Amare trade was such a "done deal" that the Cavs acquired Jamison today.......;

In the Antawn Jamison trade, the Clippers are also involved. The Cavs get Jamison and guard Sebastian Telfair, the Clippers get Drew Gooden, and the Wizards get Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Al Thornton, Brian Skinner and a Cavs first-round pick.
