I've never seen him 100% engaged in anything....been saying it from day one.

I watched Coop do one o dem Instagram live things with the fans this spring and he was REALLY personable and engaging there. He seemed to genuinely enjoy interacting with the fans. It might just be the mediots that he has no use for... Who can blame him?

He can come across as indifferent at times, but I think he's just chill.
He runs such refined and nuanced routes so there's no doubt he is a student of/loves the game.

Player acts goofy: "He doesn't take it seriously enough"
Player acts confident: "He's not humble enough"
Player appears indifferent: "No personality, weak"
Etc

Players are people too, with their own personalities and mannerisms and everything.

Exactly.
Cooper personality-wise is the polar opposite of, say, Terrell Owens.
It's actually a breath of fresh air, IMO.

Introverts are the most misunderstood and discriminated against people in the world. It's crazy because everyone has introverts in their families and still don't understand us.

I sometimes think his interviews are just a nicer version of a Marshawn Lynch interview. I've never seen one yet where he looks interested in being there.
He has had some really good comments in interviews in the past. He is more likely to talk about technical details than most players if the media ask the right questions. He does not like dumb questions...

Hahaha. I don't even watch any player interviews anymore. 99.999% of the time they say the same ole stuff.

To be honest if you watch his hands he appears to be very nervous and uncomfortable in front of a camera. Have any of you ever had a sibling/child who is the same way? There could be reasons why he comes across the way he does...just sayin'
Some people don’t like being in the spot light
