Amari Cooper to the Buffalo Bills

It's a rest-of-season rental in last year of contract.

Other than maybe the Patriots, the Bills had the worst WRs in the league

Need all the help they can get

I may be in the minority here but I think Amari is a very good WR. How many times did we watch him breaking the ankles of DBs when he was with Dallas; for whatever reason Dak couldn’t or wouldn’t target him as the #1 WR… I think dumping him (for only a 5th round pick) citing the lack of a COVID vaccine was just a BS excuse as Dak wanted him gone. Maybe I’m wrong, but that is what it seemed like to me; you just don’t freeze a WR like that out of an offense that was struggling.
But now, is finally with a team with a real QB who will utilize his abilities.

The only fake QB on our roster is Trance.

Cooper to the Bills.
Adams to the Jets for a 3rd.

Meanwhile, we are sitting on 21 million in CAP space.
The media and fans are making Jerry’s life miserable, and he can’t blame it on his coaches or players. The roster is devoid of talent for the run game on both sides and lacking in quality WR depth. Can you imagine what our pass game would look like if Lamb missed 2-3 games?
At this point, it feels like all we have is hoping for a Jerry meltdown each week. That has become our Super Bowl this year. At .500, have we ever felt so winless?

Once again, I bet GM Jethro did not pick up the phone on Cooper. $45k per game should have been right up GM Jethro's alley.

Iterally told Jerry to mind his business in the media about his personal life...but hey if it helps you sleep at night I'm the real reason Amari is gone, i didnt like his car....

I don't think it had anything to do with Dak. I think it was A) we were paying Amari No. 1 receiver money and he didn't play like a No. 1 receiver that year, B) with Lamb as the new de facto No. 1, we had to decide between paying Amari No. 1 money or paying Gallup No. 2 money and C) the Joneses did not like Amari's decision to not get vaccinated.

Although I understood why the team didn't want to pay Amari, I thought we should have tried to lower his cap hit with a restructure and use that money to pay Gallup since we didn't know how well he'd bounce back from his ACL tear. We never really got much of a chance to have Cooper/Lamb/Gallup all on the field at the same time, and I wanted to see it. Considering how slowly Gallup came back, though, I don't think it would have made a lot of difference.

Good thing we traded Cooper.

that could have been been us
Well given what transpired that would have actually been better ?

The genius front office gave the same amount of money cumulative to Schultz's tag, Gallup coming off a major injury, and now the Cooks deal.

Not trying to knock on you just kind of funny that you said that could have been us when in reality it's hey don't worry the front office actually handled it even worse.....
