Amari Cooper to the Buffalo Bills

and his salary this year is $1.2M so that's why they got a 3rd for him even though it's only half a season for a good, not great player. Cleveland is taking on almost $30M in dead money between this year and next year after this trade
Yup.
To bad Cooper didn't want to come back.

Don't forget to factor in his salary with that trade to the Browns. That basically was the trade...his salary.
Yet the Browns immediately extended him. We had options. His contract was not prohibitive. We just suck at negotiating these deals. We can do smaller deals all day long, but the big ones rarely work out for us.

Cooper to the Bills.
Adams to the Jets for a 3rd.

Meanwhile, we are sitting on 21 million in CAP space.
The media and fans are making Jerry’s life miserable, and he can’t blame it on his coaches or players. The roster is devoid of talent for the run game on both sides and lacking in quality WR depth. Can you imagine what our pass game would look like if Lamb missed 2-3 games?
The way things have been going...we will probably trade for a washed up Mike Williams.....giving up a 2nd.

Yet the FO in freaking Cleveland still got a third, and he's NOW 30. Face it we got robbed and Jerry was a mumbling idiot.
Big deal, the Browns are totally screwed.

You forgetting the 30 million in dead money Cleveland has for his salary.

I am happy for him.

He showed some character to question our crap at qb. Which everbody on this team should do.

Now he has a very good qb and hopefully can play to his full potential. I would love to see him win a ring or two.
He never questioned our qb. He didn't get vaxed, and Jerry got butt hurt. Turns out Coop was right too.

Yeah. Whatever you want to believe.

He for sure did. I saw all the interviews. 2 weeks later he was gone. And you could sense he wanted out. He had enough of dak.

I dont care about the Browns. I care that we couldn't make a better deal for this team. This trade is just a further indictment we didn't get the value we should have.
Keep on crying then.

Because they have a legit opportunity to win the AFC East and maybe do better than lose in the WC round.
Amari Cooper is not the difference in going to a conference championship or not. I get why they traded for the player but he’s a one year rental giving up draft capital for a rental when you are strapped by the cap?
