Desean Watson will count $53.9M against the Browns 2023 salary cap....they may need all the room they can get to fit that contract under the cap and Cooper may just be a 1-year and done player, especially if they can get a 5th round draft pick for him from another team thereby squaring their deal with Dallas.

No doubt the cost of QB these days makes it harder. You sure as hell will not clear cap space by releasing players on small contracts or rookie deals.

Noah is playing well above expectations, but this is just downright insulting.
Maybe, but do you think the Cowboys would trade Brown away for a 5th round pick right now? Lol.

why would they he is actually more valuable than a 5th rd for the Cowboys, his pay is 5 mill less than Copper dead money.

This is so dumb. Who thinks teams actually game plan for Noah? Smh

I admitted being wrong about him but now it's getting ridiculous

Great I'm glad they don't, just means Brown will continue to make plays. If teams are not concerned about him that benefits the Cowboys because fact is Brown is making the catches when they come his way.

Agreed that the QB contracts have gotten out of control. When you look at the Browns you have Desean Watson counting $53M and DE Garrett counting $29M against the 2023 cap. They will of course try to restructure those deals but 2 players accounting for $92M is insanity. Then factor in the Browns paying their 2 CB's and RB good money and they have serious issues.

While Dak's deal isn't as bad ($43M for 2023) and will probably get restructured, QB's are getting rich while the overall teams are suffering.

Makes me wonder when and if there will be a course correction in terms of salaries.

Feel better?

How about you give him some time. Noah does show Amari-LIKE attributes. You are part of the despicable fans that said he was trash...only good for special teams. He's beating your old expectations and will beat your pathetic current one too. Wrong then and wrong now.

Need Gallup back and he's an ok #3. I'll take it. He has worked long enough and Mi glad he is seeing some light, but this conversation is just silly.

You debbie downers have to remember...this is actually like Noah being a rookie. It was just a s few weeks ago you guys were saying Noah is ONLY a special teamer...and some sort of pet that has dirt on jerry.

He proved you wrong on that.

So the bar gets raised of course. It's how it works. I think it's great he's getting compared to Amari. He of course isn't there YET. Maybe in a year or two....you guys will be admitting you were wrong yet again.

NOBODY saw Brown stepping up like he has and part of that is the work he was doing with Cooper Rush as both were not starters.

Brown is in his 5th year and in the 4 seasons prior to this one, he had accumulated the following stats: 39 catches 63 targets 61.9% catch % 425 yards 10.9 ypc 0 td's

Brown's stats this season: 15 catches 21 targets 71.4% catch % 213 yards 14.2 ypc 1 td
