American Idol season 11

I only have one criticism for Jessica and it has nothing to do with her singing. She lacks personality/emotion. Shes just 16, but acts so mature and not like a "regular" teenage girl. That, and the EARLY PIMPING from the judges might end up hurting her.

that's what i noticed watching her last night. that & the early pimping worries me.

She won't win.

She peaked week one, set the bar too high.

At best now she will be consistent and boring...think Pia last season.

Or she will falter and get worse in comparison to last night.

this is just like what happened during season 2 when corey clark got disqualified for not admitting that he had a criminal record himself. in fact, he had charges pending against him while he was on the show if i remember correctly.

yes they have, but sometimes it helps if the contestant was upfront about whatever it was that happened.

Liked Colton, Phillip, Jessica (though not as much as the judges).

Elise and Holli were ok.

Everyone else was terrible.

i agree with all that except for phillip(i didn't think he did that great), & i grew up listening to billy joel songs as a kid. my parents used play his music in the car a lot. hearing these contestants try & take on his music was a bit of a letdown for me because i expected better.
