@kristie: I hate the auditions the most. So many train wrecks.

@justbob: Ditto. No train wrecks.

There's a reason that Idol's ratings are down 33% from last year.

tonight's episode was a total mess. people were dropping like flies mostly due to being really sick.

I am not sure what her name is, I think it was Jen Hersch maybe but she sang one of the best renditions of Georgia I have ever heard. I think she might be able to win the whole ball of wax.

Oh that's right, the guy who played the drums. That guy is immensely talented. I have a feeling he will be able to sign any genre they throw out.

14 out of the top 24 were chosen last night. the last 10 will be chosen tonight. should be interesting to say the least.

I hope the season gets better. Obviously some of the singers are good and have lots of potential, but the show seems rather dull so far.

The sadistic make-them-squirm-before-you-tell-them-whether-they-did-or-didn't-make-it thing, is not entertaining. It is overdone, stale and mean ... passive aggressive and tiresome, not at all suspenseful.

i agree. if they really cared about the contestants' feelings, they wouldn't put them through that.
