it starts tomorrow night, & i know that many are relieved that it will finally be over probably due to the fact that it has been on for so long. as for me, all i know is that i will probably cry a little bit once it ends. i've been watching this show since season 2, & it's going to be a little hard for someone like me to say goodbye to it.

You got similar shows on you can watch in the US and others singing/talent shows in England as well that you can probably find on the net.

I know that I can watch the voice, but idol was the first singing show I ever watched.

It simply got too scripted. Reports coming out how out of thousands of people that wanted to audition, only a select hundred (Some with backgrounds already in the music industry) getting a chance in front of the judges, it just doomed this show.

Not too mention, hardly any show can sustain a large fan base for a decade. Even some of the most critically acclaimed shows struggle with this let alone a reality TV how based around singing.

AI has run its course. It has been downhill since Simon left and was saved a bit by Tyler......but still was trending downward. Once Jackson left, it was all but over.

They kept the same stupid format and themes like Motown or <insert artist name here>, year they were born, etc. It became a scripted show, that is why The Voice got so popular......which is starting to become scripted as well.

Props for lasting this long, but their time has come........................

Hey, if you loved the show... You loved the show! It's ok to be said about it. I wasn't happy when FRINGE ended! ;-)

You see... For the most part you are right.... But.... A show like this should have a run like other "shows" or "programs" that run for 30 years and or/seasons.... You know ... You hit the info button on remote and you see season 24 episode 4

These are the two I like so far and I haven't finished watching all of the episodes yet.

this gal is really good:

I am watching her now for the first time....yeah she's really good! As I was watching her I thought she looked familiar. Sure enough I looked her up and she was on America's Got Talent!
