How does that explain Ozzy, Keith Richards, etc.? They probably did more drugs than her by 22.

lol, the fact that they didn't die doesn't mean they weren't trying.

Very tragic. When I saw the Serbia video of her stumbling and mumbling, I said death was coming sooner rather than later.

The demons won, and now she is free.

R.I.P. Amy.

This will not make sense to some people, and I apologize for that. When I first heard about this girl a couple of years ago I listened to her music and she immediately reminded me of Sylvia Plath.

Plath was not a singer and Winehouse was not a poet, but both seem to almost be tortured by their dark sides. One's misery was masked in music, one in verse, but both almost screamed out for help.

I did not particularly know or care for her art, but 27 is way to young to cash in your chips.

Sad news for me, she had a great voice.

Just an FYI for everyone, there are people that do hard drugs and live long lives, there are people that do hard drugs once and die, there are people that don't smoke and get cancer, there are people that smoke and never get cancer, there are people that drink their whole lives and live long, there are people that die of alcohol poisoning at a young age, there are people that own many guns and never shoot themselve, there are people that shoot themselves or others accidentally, there are people that drive fast cars and never get in an accident, there are people that die in accidents the first time the get behind the wheel of a fast car. Take it for what it's worth.

Amy was tortured, no doubt about it, she's sung about it and spoke about it. This isn't surprising, but it's a bummer none the less.

Might want to rethink that one. Go do some searching on the interwebs.

What happened to the tattoo on her inner right forearm?

Are you serious?

If you can't tell the difference in the angle of the camera shot, as to why you can't see the tattoo in one picture but you can in the other, then I feel really bad for you.

and all those that claim that drugs are not so bad....

I understand she had real talent. Didn't matter in the end; she obviously could not handle life.

Never seen anyone claim the drugs she was using were great.

Live fast, die young

You live too fast, die too young. Indeed! RIP Amy. So sad yet not really surprising. Thoughts and prayers are with her family.:(
