Since 2006, Romo has 14 touchdown passes of at least 45 yards in the fourth quarter or overtime -- almost three times as many as any other quarterback.

1. Tony Romo, 14
2. Brett Favre, 5
3. Three tied with 3

If you make it 47 yards or more, then Romo has more than four times as many as any other quarterback.

1. Romo 13
2. Four players tied with 3

So you are saying he is pretty good? Wow. That is going to be a shocker to some here.:)

Awesome stat, Adam.

I read where Romo's QB rating was off the charts on 4th down last night, and I seem to recall you posting a very comprehensive statistical breakdown of Romo's first 20 or so starts during the 2007 season (YPA, TDs, winning %, rating, etc). Any chance you have that updated through the present?

Here are the all-time leaders in fourth-quarter/overtime TD passes of 45 yards or more --

1. Jim Hart, 19
2T. Johnny Unitas, 14
2T. Tony Romo, 14
4. Sonny Jurgenson, 13
5T. Y.A. Tittle, 12
5T. Joe Montana, 12
5T. Norm Van Brocklin, 12
5T. John Hadl, 12

Not bad for a guy who has started for less than three full seasons.

Erroneous, erroneous on all accounts. Why dont we just start making stats up to make our blatantly bad QB look good?

Romo leads in TD's in between the 4th and 13th minute of the 3rd quarter when he wears his hat backwards before the game.

I thought Romo looked like Jesus.

We keep winning and he may well look like Jesus at the end of the season. Romo has a deal with a buddy that he won't get his hair cut until we lose.

What's also interesting to note is 5 of those 7 players are Hall of Famers, I believe. It's funny how Romo has all of these stats that continually place him among the best of the best, yet people think he's this overrated quarterback.

Its the long hair.

I heard he has been listening to ratt and dokken in the locker room in order to fit in with his new found long hair.

Can't be Adam...

Romo has poor arm strength.

Or so we've been told by some here.

Really? He needs to keep wearing his hat backwards then.

Someone send this to Colin Cowturd. He's always blasting on Romo.
