According to Albert Breer, the new drug policy will allow for HGH testing in about 30 days.

This should be interesting. How long does it take to get that stuff (and other PEDs) out of the system?

They'll be taking blood now. Not just the ole pee-in-the-cup.

The NFL has been pushing for HGH testing for years. They weren't going to relent on it.

Makes you wonder why the players agreed to this.

Just to smoke pot?

The other leagues have done it and there was pressure on the NFL to do the same. The new CBA a couple years ago mandated HGH testing. The owners had the leverage in those negotiations. The NFLPA has just dragged their feet for two years on an agreement on how it will be implemented.

I think the NFL used the high profile suspensions to start the season as leverage to get the players to finally finalize a deal.

Then a responsible union would be telling guys for the last 2 years to clean it up because this is coming and if players knew it and continued then that is on them.

I would make sure to test every player on the giants roster twice.

As much as I hate the Gints , I suspect Seahawks use them , maybe they should be the first one to be tested.

Not worried about anyone on the Cowboys testing positive, especially the defense.

I would guess that the percentage of those testing positive for HGH would be about the same as the percentage of those who voted against it. Has the official vote tally been published?

Then again, maybe some of these players are too stupid to even comprehend what they are actually voting for or against.

Based on some of Adrian Peterson's actions and texts, I would not be surprised if he tests positive. Last year he came back from injury pretty quick and had a pretty good season. Actually, super-human quick return and super-human season. Dude is on something.

Adrian Peterson seems like a prime candidate for a positive test....

The test differentiates synthetic GH from endogenous. Even if levels are found to be normal, any synthetic component that remains on board (weeks to months) will be detected, and the perp will be nailed.

HGH isnt going to give you roid rage.

Doubt any suspensions are coming. Players were informed of this looming vote in advance. Besides, most guys are probably uding designer drugs now anyway which arent tested for

I am sure there will be plenty caught. But I am also sure it will not take long for a good number of players to keep using HgH/PED and not get caught.

HOW testing was already agrees to in the latest CBA.

Methodology/process is what needed to be finalized.

Also pot smoking was brought in line with Olympic standards.
