According to Albert Breer, the new drug policy will allow for HGH testing in about 30 days.

This should be interesting. How long does it take to get that stuff (and other PEDs) out of the system?

They'll be taking blood now. Not just the ole pee-in-the-cup.

There is still no 100% solid way to detect the use of HGH.

And then there is always the question of how you implement the testing: Could be twice a year and telling the athletes beforehand when they'll get testet. Could be twice a week with random tests.

Because everybody knows that all players use HGH and no one is interessted in killing the cow their milking i think we should not be too concerned about the new rules.

It will be implementend in a way the League can advertise the NFL as a clean sport and athletes can still make use of everything they want. so the audiance doesnt get bored because everybody is 40 pound leaner and 1 sec slower. In the end its all about the Benjamins.

NFL is taking some hits right now... all of the domestic abuse.... The Oly style testing is sure to unearth some ugly truths....
and Anheuser Busch isn't happy with sponsoring a league with such problems... which is weird being that its alcohol..... but never the less......

Agreed, keep in mind they probably had an inclination this was going to happen even before we knew about it as fans...

Interesting point, could make it harder to find players that don't become busts.

The test differentiates synthetic GH from endogenous. Even if levels are found to be normal, any synthetic component that remains on board (weeks to months) will be detected, and the perp will be nailed.
