Anae always was a lock. Bernard likely is battling with March for the last LB spot. So if he's any good, he should not have any issues.

Yes, training camp performances are always of limited value because players often faced players that won't be on the team.

Having said that, it's always better to hear that a player is making plays regardless of the level of competition than to hear that they suck.

Great racehorses are made to carry extra weight to try to level out the field a bit. If the Cowboys want to field functional practices they may have to do the same with Anae.

I love the depth they are accumulating on the DL. If Hill and Gallimore can play decently, this could be the best DL they have had in some time. The fact that there will not be a significant drop off when the starters take a breather is a big improvement over the past.
