Just saw on the local news here in Charlotte that Dolphins receiver Chris Chambers was arrested at 2:30am this morning for speeding and DWI while in Charlotte.

Will players ever learn?

That's lame...I want this team to play all other teams AT THEIR BEST!

Can you outrun a horse with just 3 legs?

Who was that reciever that beat that horse?

A really don't care if a team is at their best. Its not like Miami is a real test of tests. Might as well have them be a little less then at their best.

When will these guys learn to call a cab or have a designated driver?

These players already have too much money to care, they know their money will get them out of trouble.:(

A belief I've always held....I totally agree.

A team becomes elite by beating teams at their best, not by slaying paper tigers.

You become great by earning it...a concept lost on the laziest set of our population.

I don't give a damn if a team is at its best. 5 years later no one but THAT teams fans care anyway. I just want to BEAT them.

side note: Detroits Rogers will not have charges pursued as regards groping that stripper. So he is off the hook. Probably a pay off to the stripper but that is the way it is done.

Ahhhh yes...the Notre Dame approach.

Beat up their 'traditional' weak sisters and get the bowl bid....only to get their collective butts handed to them year in year out by much more battle tested teams.

Chambers didn't have a good year last year anyway. Newman can take him no problem.

Ahhhh yes....good ol' Notre Dame bashing...and the typical "they have an easy schedule" argument at that. :banghead:

So they kick it up a notch for a year.....it's about time...someone at ND must have finally recognized what everyone else has known for years.

And may I add....if ND goes strong through their schedule this year...wouldn't you have to agree they're a MUCH better team for doing so, and better prepared for their bowl opponent?

jackrussell. Do some research before you embarrass yourself even more then you already have. ND has CONSISTENTLY had a top 20 Strength of Schedule for the last 25 years. The year the last won a NC, 1988, they had the tougest schedule of all. Last year it was around 12-15. OSU, Michigan had much weaker schedules. Which SHOWED when they got ROUTED in their BOWL games. As an Independent, ND will always have trouble getting quality opponents later in the season. Other teams just want to play their conference rivals then.
BY the way ask Boston College about Navy.
Ask Tennessee about Air Force.
Ask USC about UCLA.
Georgia Tech was no pushover. Neither was Penn State.
all teams ND played last year. With the exception of Army, North Carolina and Stanford they were all at least decent teams.
9 tough to pretty good teams, with 7 of them going to bowls.
ND does not play Division 1AA teams like Michigan, OSU, and some other powers do.
