"If you want a seminal snapshot of the season to date, it was right there, late in the game, for the nation to see in all its dominance and glory.

Five linemen, a fullback, and DeMarco Murray celebrated together in the end zone, apart from the shiny toys on offense, away from Romo, isolated together in the end zone of the world champs. They hugged and head butted, knowing full well what they’d just done, and what they’ve become.

They are one. The most dominant collective unit in the National Football League. Soak in that for a moment."

Love this article. I was thinking the exact same thing when Murray scored, it was complete bedlam because EVERYONE celebrated. What a difference with when one of the WRs score. Romo has to feed the running game more in the red zone, it is unifying and confidence building, for the entire offense.

That was a great play for me because Parnell and Leary are two of my top pet cats and they both dominated on that play.

Parnell pancaked the 6-5, 311 Kevin Williams. Williams is a 6x Pro Bowl and 5x All Pro player.

I yelled out loud when I saw that. X is going to go bannanas!!

Lmao. Timely. Those of us that have been "around" have seen our fair share of memorably beautiful plays.

You mean like the sideline acrobatic williams catch earlier in the game? Or the Dez out of his mind reception to beat the Texans?

Not to take anything away from Parnell's great block, but Clutts was the one who popped Williams while engaged with Parnell, which made it look like Parnell pancaked him.

Clutts had a tremendous game yesterday from what I saw.

No. I mean the acrobatic catches by Drew Pearson and the incredibly improbable catches by Tony Hill.

If you watch the close up starting at about :30 in the video, Clutts had minimal impact on that play.

Really good column, but I agree with Crown. Is the jab at Jerry necessary? Hell, we don't actually even know what happened there, but even if we do, aren't we glad Jerry seriously considers the opinions of others in his decisions? Isn't that a good thing? Over the past five or so years, they (Jerry, his scouts, coaches and the rest of the FO) have rebuilt the OL and embraced a new identity organization-wide. And it goes beyond just deciding to do it. There's more to it than just drafting offensive linemen. You have to hit on those picks and be willing to pay guys like Ron Leary who no one else will take a chance on. How about Demarco Murray in the third round? The football world laughed when Jerry held on to Jason Garrett, hired Scott Linehan and Derek Dooley, shuffled his defensive staff and made Bill Callahan coach out his contract. This was the worst team in football, right? Who's laughing now?

Pete Carroll’s early camera smugly smirks turned into lost looks of confusion and helplessness.
Great line @erod

It was Clutts who knocked Williams off balance. :37 shows it really well, but I digress.

From the article:

OK, it’s October, I know. Ten games to go, fraught with potential injuries, and pits of calamity lurking around every corner. Learning to live with expectations remains unproven. Wearing the proverbial “team to beat” target is a burden, even when accustomed to what wearing the Star brings by its very nature.

Yes, we are all thrilled with the game and the way our Boys performed! That had to be the most fun we have had watching a Cowboys game in quite some time. Can't wait until the Giants game!

We all should be brimming with excitement and confidence going into next week.

But we also have to remember, it was one game. We have to string these type of performances together, and stay healthy.

Yes it looked like it to me also. I was greatly surprised and impressed with his play. It answered some of the questions many have been asking about him since the last round of cuts to 53.
