Not at all .... the guy signed with a Professional Football team 7 months ago (average salary is between 75,000-120,000) and has not reported over a reality show.
Every one of those guys would take a chance to go to an nfl camp over the cfl. I would also think that there must be some sort of exception already given to him because the nfl usually can't sign guys that are under contract with the cfl.

I really thought Montrel Jones had what it took because of his size and ability. But i guess if you are not in shape and get lazy the cowboys don't need you. Holley also has shown talent during the show but he is too "Bigheaded". Hawkins deserves it. He said he expects to score everyplay. And he is super quick. And is not too "bigheaded" or lazy.

Oh my god dude, you have got to be kidding me. I guarantee you this him signing a contract with a CFL team will have no bearing on him being available for the Dallas Cowboys should we need him. If worse comes to worse you don't think Jerry will buy out his meager CFL contract? The dude is taking a chance and aiming for his ultimate dream. I'm sorry, I can't hold that against him at all. It would be like me getting a good job, then bolting at the opportunity to land my dream job. Please forgive me for having my and my family's best interest in mind! I swear some of you people dissect any little thing when it comes to athletes, and I wish you all would get off your high horse sometimes.

I actually like him from how he interviews in the show at least. He does seem to have a better head on his shoulders than most of them. Montrell Jones seems like he's a little slow mentally. And I agree with you about Holley.

Whomever "wins" this show will have to impress more than physically. Out of all of them, Hawkins appears to have that edge.

If Hawkins has any chance it's because he may get a shot as the punt returner.

And that is what I see him as. Actually when you watch him on this show, and his college highlights he reminds me somewhat of PacMan Jones when he was at WVU. Basically his quickness, speed, and vision in the return game. I think he could be what we thought we were getting with Skyler Green. Skyler had a similar skill set to Andrew, but was never the same after suffering a lingering ankle injury in college. Its like he never got over it mentally. He eventually sort of let himself go and showed up to the Cowboys looking kinda chubby. I was really disappointed with his ethic.

No prob.

I still think the kid has no shot ...... but I am rooting for him.

And I swear that if Stanback gets hurt one more time ...... I will be ready to cut him for anyone.

Isn't this guy 5'08" 165? I do like the fact he has ran a 4.34 40 but I would still say he is a long shot at that size. I wish him the best of luck

Holley is a standout too though and a big factor if he and Hawkins end up head to head is that Holley is your prototypical 6'3" 215lbs. WR.

Hawkins rocks. He seems to have a dimension that the Cowboys lack. I love the way he gets in and out of his cuts.

I think Eddie Moten is the sleeper, though. Based on other reality shows, they rarely show the winner at the beginning of the series. My final two are Hawkins and Moten.

I think Washington should have been cut. I just don't see any way he could play football for the Cowboys.

And this can be evaluated by film from a REALITY show from a TV.
Just a comment. I haven't watched any of the shows. But seems like saying Ricky Williams is the greatest RB ever, before he played a down. :D

Which I have been told that by a few UT homers before he was drafted.

He's probably talking about speed and quickness at wide receiver. We don't have a small, quick wide receiver. We have some speed, but they're all bigger guys.

And Hawkins ran a 4.34 at his pro day. That wasn't on a reality show.

True but for a guy like this to make the team he better be able to be a return man if he hopes to make this team.

Hawkins the last two shows has really showed some talent. i do think he'll win this and I would be willing to give him a shot to make the roster. A couple of weeks ago I didn't think anyone would make it, no matter who won, but he's shown some promise. Of course this is against a bunch of JAGS so who knows if that translates in Training Camp or not, but I could see him doing it.

Actually you can view the route being run on this show.Unlike on a pro game.

I disagree with that.

So you knew, from the get go, that bates could play and had a shot to make the team? No offense Hos but I doubt that to be quite honest. The day Bates walked onto the field to try and make it as a walk on free agent you no doubt thought he was another scrub, ham and egger, or whatever.

Now, having seen the whole of his career, yeah you won't call him that and all that but I doubt you, or anyone else for that matter, honestly thought he had any shot the day he walked in to try and make the team.
