Did you know that you can also create beautiful time lapse videos on your Android 4.0 #ICS device? Just open your Camera and ensure it's in video mode, then touch the Settings icon on the main video screen. Select the time lapse option (the semicircle icon) and choose a time interval. Once you close out of the settings, touch Record to experience a fun way of capturing videos on your phone. For best results, leave your device in a stable place while it's recording.

Ain't that just cool? No pun intended.

I just happened to win $100 on a scratch-off lottery ticket tonight on a weird bet with a friend of mine. We both decided to buy one Texas lottery $20 scratch off (there's a couple different varieties) each night for this weekend starting on Thursday night. Whoever wins the most, gets to buy the other guy a $50 scratch off. If I come out ahead, the Galaxy Nexus is mine on Monday.

FWIW, I had a chat with Verizon about having to change my unlimited data/text plan when I get a new phone. I currently pay $44 for both of those, not including my calling plan. The online operator told me that since I've been a customer with Verizon for over a decade, I just need to call customer service and they'll reinstate my old plan at that same price point.

So I called customer service to check up on that. Sure enough, the guy said it was true and that I 'should' be able to keep that same plan for life. He said they've got people on unlimited voice, data, and text for under $50 that have been with Verizon since they first offered smart phone data plans. If they ever give me crap about it, not his exact words, that I should ask to speak with a higher up in the food chain since they value their long-standing customers.

I was :D like a big dog with a pile of bones after hearing that.
