At least the one thing to watch Sunday is how the Nooch will do. Growing pains, and will be in pain. But at least there will be something to look forward to in his development. If he is not carted off.

Will be hard to judge his ability as a QB if the line blocks, does not block, the way they did vs the “skins”. Only thing we will be judging is his toughness!

Andy Dalton was in the team meeting Wednesday but will not practice as he continues in the concussion protocol. Rookie Ben DiNucci would start Sunday at Philadelphia if Dalton can’t play. “Ben’s been up here relentlessly here in the last 48 hours, so he’s pouring everything that he personally can into this opportunity that may be in front of him,” Mike McCarthy said. “He’ll get pretty much all the work this week because I don’t see Andy coming back, at the end of the week at the earliest.”

What has Da Nooch been doing in camp? Since Dak went down? Only decided to study the playbook once Dalton went down?

There were weeks to cram the playbook. This week should have been focusing on getting snaps and preparing for the upcoming game.

Too bad the Nooch is going into a gunfight with a knife... was hoping he would have been given a fair chance. But with this OL...and the Egals strength being their DL...not very good.

Oline could be ok if they put Martin or Williams out at T, and play McGovern at G. That's our best 5.
