OK, you're probably right because there is a drum corps. They are so high up that they aren't really a part of the experience unless you have nose bleed seats or they are shown on the big videoboard. I know Miller Lite is paying Jerry handsomely, but they really don't seem necessary.

I'm speaking purely from a TV viewpoint. I havent' made it to the new stadium yet. I've watched every game and they've been mentioned twice that I remember. They were also shown a couple of other times, which is how I know how high up they are. I'm told that they also do pre-game performances outside the stadium, so they probably have built up somewhat of a fanbase by now. And of course, Jerry is getting paid by Miller Lite. It just seems like excess to me when we already have the most famous cheerleaders in the world. But it's a big stadium and I guess Jerry is trying to cover every base.
