The Cowboys are #1 by far in operating income. They're almost double the second team, the Rams.
Yep and its why I tend to stay in the middle of the road in these debates, but without seeing a full balance sheet it doesnt tell the whole story. Generating the revenue and where it goes are two completely different things. I dont have enough of an insight to really say if the Cowboys are more expensive to operate than other teams or not...I've seen very good arguments on both sides there, no doubt Jerry certainly operates as a lower income owner though in terms of spending.

I recall Emmitt Smith saying that Jerry once gave him great financial advice that being wealthy is not how much money you make, but rather how much less you spend.
Thats great advice...except for when it comes to the guys that own my favorite sports teams

well coaches cost money and we can't afford them, there is a cap you know...errr. I mean there is coaches dead money and if I pay the coach that much, he has to work 24x7 and be able to do more than just being a head coach or coordinator......plus some of the folks on janitorial staff have helped out in the past, they just didn't get the right direction from the coaches....
