Another 1stPick Trade back Draft

Girth and yes, scheme fit...meaning,we are not going to ask him to be something he is not. We will use him to run block mostly. Zeke may get very close to 2k yards this year if he is the pick. But Heck yes I would love Nelsen too. That isn't realistic..so to me, the next best lineman is Hernandez in the pecking order. We run a ton,and he just fits what we like to do.

I think the issue here is the inflating of how good you think Hernandez is (ie just as good as Nelson) in order to justify his pick at 19.

In other words, how can you argue taking that guy at 19 when he's just as good as the generational OG that will be taken in the Top 10?

Nelson is a better run and pass blocker.

That's not the 100% consensus. I have seen mocks that have them neck and neck. You keep talkin about top 10 this and that..ok fine. But so..that means its not possible a guy drafted a little lower can be just as good? COME NOW...Projections are just that. Many on this board feel the same as me..so its not like I'm the lone wolf here. Just sayin.

I get it..its because Hernandez is a small school guy as opposed to Nelsen. Fair or not, thats the problem. Look at Larry Allen. He came from Sonoma state! Same things were said about him because he hadn't done it against elite competition. We know how that went. Not at all saying Hernandez will be Allen..but just making a point. We don't know truly until we know and the real games are played.
