Why did NFL Europe do so crappy then?

Because we know the difference between good and bad football, We know when we're being fed a poor product, it was the lack of quality that killed NFLE not it's location. Last time i checked it didn't do to well in the US either yet the NFL still does, it's the same thing in Europe.

Why do people go to the London games if they don't care?

Why do TV stations here buy the insanely expensive NFL rights if there's not enough interest to make money of them?

the answer to both is people actually care, and it's not just Americans, most of the big SB parties i've been to here i've been the only American attending.

As far as SB viewers go they don't take into account how many people watch it the next day. When a game (any game, any sport) starts at 2am you're not only going to lose sleep if you stay up to watch it but you're also hoping it ends before you have to go to work so unless your team is playing you're probably not going to stay up for it. If the SB was played at 2am in the US the number of viewers tuning in would take a significant hit, if it was played in the afternoon in Europe you'd see a significant increase in viewers here.

Is the interest here as big as in the US? of course not, but there it's very big and fast growing following here.

I honestly don’t give a flying **** about the nickname. Keep it. I don’t really care. It’s idiotic to think that the Cowboys in any way, shape or form represents or is analogous to America. What do the COWBOYS represent anyways? Being hated? Fine. Being loved? Fine. Being a polarizing figure? Fine. If popularity and other people’s opinions are what does it for you, great, keep rocking on with that.
I just said the nickname has NOTHING to do with "representing America," and you still talk about representing America. Are you really that dense?

Which was as much of a start to a circle jerk then as it is now. I avoided it then as well, in case you were curious (as I believe that you should be able to do your little circle jerks in your own space).
Oh shut the hell up or go piss and moan somewhere else.
We don't need freaking trolls from other teams pissing and moaning about us enjoying our team. Note I have NEVER called you a troll until right then, but Jack-o, that was trolling. Period.

You can make a couple of parallels between America and the Cowboys. Great. That still doesn’t prove anything. I can make a couple of parallels between just about any team in the league and America too.
So do it. It would amuse the hell out of me.

I don’t really care. It may get Steelers fans all hot and bothered, and Pats fans may care, but Commanders fans (and a majority of the NFL) just don’t care. If you said, right this second
, you would give the Commanders the label, I wouldn’t care and nor would anybody else. I don’t find it offensive. A lot of other companies and brand’s claim to be “America’s whatever”. Why not a football team? Does it have to be the team I like? You guys have fun with all that though, I was just here to say that ESPN is clearly pulling a fast one with you and none of you have picked up on it. Just for the record, I don’t care if the Cowboys are known as America’s Team.
I have heard more Commanders fans squawk about that nickname than all other teams put together. So it is hilarious that you make that claim because it is a bald faced lie. I cannot even count the number of times I have been reminded that the Commanders reside in our nation's capital and that is the hub of America.

Of course we all picked up on what ESPN was trying to do. It is simply further evidence that sex sells and the Cowboys are sex.

Uh, the above was merely another metaphor. I am not suggesting only Cowboys fans get laid. However, that would be a perk I would support.

Uh, that last line was a joke.

You've got to explain everything or it sails right over heads.

When people say America's Team they know who you are talking about. Like it or not that is the way it is. All the debates, polls and discussions is not going to change the reality. It is just a nickname and one that many Cowboy fans are proud to have.

Strawman. I also mentioned analogous (which you said it was). Beside, you said "whatever you want to call it".

I rather enjoy your comical responses. Except when you are trying to be funny, then they aren't comical.

My balls are America's Balls. Some people hate them, some people love them (like America). Sometimes they have to get dirty to do the job, but they always get the job done. Like America. Hell, I've seen them red, white and blue too.

The attitude of Commanders fans you met is more indicative of who you chose to converse with as opposed to a slice of the population representative of the fanbase as a whole.

The fact that guys in spandex makes you think of sex is the most telling fact of all. Have fun with that.

I wasn't trying to be funny. I meant it. I hate trolling. If you have a problem with this site's fans then don't log in. It's really just that damned simple. No tears shed.

Yet you said it was impossible. Now it's just improbable? The story is always changing.

Yet another metaphor sails right over your head despite an explanation. Why am I not shocked? Try breathing through your nose. More oxygen to the brain.

1. Why would I stop logging in when you get so worked up? To please you? I think not. Besides, I find you to be comical. I don't care if you are trying.

2. What are you babbling about now? I never said, nor implied, that it was impossible.

3. Lighten up Francis, I was joking around.

Why do you guys argue with people like that? They don't get it and they're never going get it. No amount of explaining or expounding will change that.

Just move on...

It's funny to me just how often the Cowboys are continually singled out by the media and some other teams' fans over our nickname. Discussions started by non-Cowboys fans should begin as, "You know, it's your team's nickname and I don't get it either". End of discussion. Of course, that rarely happens and the usual hilarity ensues soon thereafter. It's like a neverending Monty Python sketch. :)
