Another offseason like 2005 and we're a Super Bowl Contender

4 of the last 6 SB winners didnt make the playoffs the year before their championsip run. Remember St. Louis? 5-11 in 1998.

Yes, it can happen. In fact, it usually does.

Oh yeah, I do remember St. Louis. That's because ever since they went from 5-11 to the Super Bowl, I've heard people EVERY YEAR say we can do the same thing. But all I recall is us going 5-11 in 2000. Then 5-11 in 2001 and then again in 2002.

And now, in six years since the Rams did that, we've managed to get into the playoffs ONCE and that was as a wildcard team and we lost.

So yeah, it CAN happen. But no it usually doesn't. At least it doesn't for us and frankly I'm sick of hearing how the Rams did this or the Bucs did that or the Ravens - because it don't mean jack to us.

Shame both examples you site got injured. Sorry, that is just bad luck.

It may be bad luck but chance of older players getting injured is greater. I'm not a fan of giving out big bonuse contracts to older players.
