Out of the three WR's, Roy would definitely be my first choice. Wouldn't mind Boldin either, but Chad seems to have gone off the deep end. Roy and Boldin would give the same production w/o the insanity.

I don't see that happening. We know they won't keep him because of the contracts they've given out to the other WR's like Johnson. Picking WR's every first round is coming back to bite them in the butt.

There is no way that Detroit lets Roy Williams walk next year for no compensation. You are also greatly underestimating Detroit being willing to pay Roy Williams. If Dallas can afford TO and Roy Williams along with Barber and Romo. Then Detroit can definately afford Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson.

If Roy is not traded this year, he will be franchised by Detroit and either traded (ala Pearless Price) or signed to a long term deal. But no way Detroit lets Roy Williams sign else where for no compensation. He is probably the best player on there team right now.

That's why I don't see them "giving" Roy away this season for a 2nd rounder. Why would they if they could hit him w/ the f-tag next season and AT LEAST get a 1st for him (even though I'd LOVE for JJ to make it happen)?!

Roy Williams is definitely worth a first-round draft pick, especially considering your not guaranteed anything with a first-round draft pick who hasn't played a down in the NFL....

Roy Williams is already playing at a level of a TOP first-round draft pick, let alone one that is picked at the botton third... he is a top-notch receiver, and his only flaw is that he gets minor injuries that nag him for a couple of games...
