New York Giants’ Curtis Riley, on the other hand, would likely hope to forget his tackling performance in 2018. The fourth-year Fresno State product missed a position-high 23 tackles across his 988 defensive snaps this past season, giving him the lowest tackling efficiency (3.9) among the 74 NFL safeties with at least 400 defensive snaps played.
Not Jeff Heath
LOL...….My bad, the 2nd worst in the NFL. Thanks for the correction.
Jeff Heath can not tackle. We noted last year in this space that Heath had more missed tackles (11) than defeats (six). The problem got worse in 2018, as Heath’s 22 broken tackles were the second-most allowed in the league. Heath just isn’t a starting-caliber strong safety;
Ah wait...……...Here's the one. LOL
Heath is a brilliant athlete who shines on special teams, but his penchant for bad angles and reads have led to him being out of position far too often. Pro Football Focus saddled Heath with the most missed tackles against the run by a safety in the NFL during the 2018 season.
