Another safety on the move?

I think the problem is that the Cowboys just don't value his position and won't pay it.

This is a position we will constantly draft and replace for cheap.

It's like our nose tackle of the secondary.
Our "philosophy" on both Safety and the 1Tech have cost us in the biggest games. One year we'll learn.

Two of his years of contract control are gone.

If he follows the trend of other Star Players, he'll want a new contract next year.

Considering the size of the Landon Collins contract, the loss of two years from the Adams contract is very significant.

On the plus side, he is an immediate contributor at the position the Cowboys need long term (Strong Safety).

Adams at SS would give the Cowboys the option of Heath at FS while X.Woods is out.

I don't know why the Jets would want to trade away players. They just signed Le'veon Bell to a big contract. They don't appear to be in (intentional) tank mode.

That's the problem here....while we might love the player - we will need those picks to replace some of the talent we can't sign.

He is the best player on that team, I would love that move! No way we get him.

You're giving up two cost controlled assets for one cost controller asset.

The loss of a 4th shouldnt be the difference in being able to resign our guys or not.

So, Adams is basically quitting on the team, quitting on the fans, and quitting on his teammates. All because the team plain stinks and he wants to go somewhere else. Is that what the league has become? A new method for free agency - throw a hissy fit, act like an idiot, get cut (ala Antonio Brown) or traded (ala Minkah and pretty soon Ramsey and Adams).

Taco is trying the same tactic except he wants off a good team so he can get playing time.
