(5:00 PM): UGA OLB declares for draft ... According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Georgia junior OLB Justin Houston has applied to the NFL to be included in the 2010 draft. Houston, who figures to be a 3-4 edge rush LB at the next level, figures to be a late first or early second round selection this coming April.

I'd be shocked if he goes in 2.

He already plays OLB in a 3-4 and Todd Grantham is his DC.

He made a really smooth transition in his first yr as a 3-4 OLB. I think he's gonna test well at the combine too and end up getting into the late 1st rd.

He was suspended from the team a couple of years ago for breaking team rules.
That would be the only reason that he would not go in round one.

34 OLB's that can rush the passer are in high demand. His first step is much like Ware. He also patterns his game after Ware. He studied film of Ware to learn how to play the position.

Watch for him to move up and receive some consideration in the teens. He would give me a lot of pause in the second round (though I'd rather focus on OL and secondary).

I think he'd have to considered period. We now have a DC that bases his defense on pressure.
