Another top OC candidate turns down the Eagles

They even promised complete offensive autonomy to Dabol and Stefanski, which has to be hard for Siriani to agree to.

The offense always has drama and there’s always this cloud over Hurts. It will be interesting to see who ends up taking the job

But what you should pay attention to is how they finished. They were a train wreck at the end stumbling into the playoffs playing some ugly football. So, winning the NFC Least isn't enough to keep Howie Roseman from blowing up the team.
When they miss the playoffs he’ll blow up the team.

I’d actually prefer the Eagles hire 1 of these. Let them continue to cycle through OC’s endlessly. If Dabol or McDaniel had gotten the job and the Eagles went on a playoff run they would have gotten HC jobs just like Gannon and Moore did.
The worst thing the Eagles could do from a Cowboys perspective would be to hire a good OC that provides long term stability.

I’m not a big fan of Hurts, but having 5 different OC’s/play callers in 6 years is pretty crazy.

The Eagles were limping well before the end of the season. They could have easily lost the first game to the Cowboys and games against the Chiefs, Rams, Bucs, Vikings, and Packers. They were doing just enough to win every week. It just started catching up with them late in the year. They only had 3 victories that were by more than 7 points the entire year.

Daboll remains highly-regarded in Buffalo where, as OC, he was credited with developing a raw Josh Allen. His success there is what got him the NYG job. A second BUF stint would give him the opportunity to return to doing what he probably does best, where he enjoyed his greatest career success.
ahh, .. interesting tidbit. Thanks for input.

Maybe nobody wants to be their OC because they know they have to play against our defense twice a year.

He's smart just not talented at passing the ball. He's a competitor though.

Probably because it’s win now or else. It will be Nagy or Reich. Boring. Been with the team in past years. No innovation. Lots of experience.

Keep telling yourself that. You'll be calling them a Super Team when he has success next year. Which is usually his MO after bad seasons.

Meanwhile Daks been in the league for a decade and yall go crazy over his MVP-esque empty stats and blame everybody else for his constant failures and crapping the bed when it counts.

But somehow Kellen Moore got a chip with Jalen and coached him to having another 70+% completion, with multiple tds and great a Super Bowl stat-line. His 2nd time doing that btw. Of which only he and Tom Brady are the only qbs in NFL history to post. While Daks only apperance in official capcity at a Super Nowl was to accept an award. But he did throw for nearly 5k yards with 2 1k wrs for a total of 7 wins this year!

Crazy!
You sound like a Philly fan.

First McDaniel and now Daboll.

I admire their character.

When fans make the news for egging your house it really doesn't make Philly a desirable destination for an offensive coordinator.
Also, hearing how jalen hurts struggles to read defenses and is afraid to throw over the middle doesn't help either. Lol.
