The "joke" here is obvious, but it won't stay that way for long.

Consider everything.
Now, in your opinion, do you believe that Michael and/or Bill Bidwell would ever publicly acknowledge that it was a mistake to have had Boldin on their roster? Even after everything he has negatively "done" as a Cardinal?
I'm only asking because the same cannot be said of Terrell Owens.
Publicly? No. Privately? They are sure discussing it.JordanTaber;2587745 said:Has Jerry Jones?
No, but then again Terrell Owens has not played his entire career with the Cowboys...JordanTaber;2587745 said:Has Jerry Jones?

...has he?
Please. PLEASE reply back.
Why would he? John York has never been involved in the day to day operations of the 49ers. His wife and brother-in-law were.JordanTaber;2587777 said:What difference does that make?
You think Boldin is going to play his ENTIRE CAREER with the Cardinals? In the era of free agency?
Did John York ever publicly say Terrell Owens was a mistake? He played 8 years in San Francisco.

1) It makes all the difference if you're trying to imply that Boldin and Owens are similar based on anything period
2) Of course not
3) Ditto
4) Nope
5) If anyone would know how long Owens played in San Francisco, it would be you
Who cares about John York?

Eagles Camp Update/Lurie regrets signing T.O.
Philadelphia Inquirer, The, August, 2006 by Shannon Ryan
Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie said today the team learned a lesson last year in its dealings with Terrell Owens and if given the chance to go back to acquire the troublesome receiver again would pass.
"I would not do it again," Lurie said in his annual state-of-the team address at training camp. "You look back on it... . One year great; second year a disaster. Nobody should be able to be as disruptive and really cut the energy of the team down after what happened last year. I think we all learned from that."
Lurie said that the team has returned to its roots of going after "character" players, while still taking risks.
"As an owner, I'll admit I'm a risk-taker," he said. "I'll always try to be aggressive and make mistakes. At the same time, when we're in the draft room, or approaching free agency or picking players ...
The question is about owners regrets, not teammates. Therein lies the difference.5Countem5;2587821 said:A lot of the eagles players didn't feel this way, I would think the would know better.
I bet many of them wished they had him today, just like they didn't want to begin with.
