Anthony Armstrong to re-sign with Cowboys

WR Anthony Armstrong re-signed with Cowboys. And, as @ProFootballTalk noted, Ravens released special-teams standout Brendon Ayanbadejo.

It's official. Superbowl here we come!

My point was that he is a ridiculously good pass rusher at DE but needs to develop in the run game. He wasn't a good fit at OLB because of inexperience in coverage, etc., but B-more will get the best out of him eventually. I bet if we knew we were switching to a 4-3 last year we would have kept him...

Are you saying that the Cowboys cut a "great" pass-rusher because he didn't have experience playing in coverage?

Many on this board liked him and hated to see him go (including myself), however I will forever fail to see how being good at rushing the passer at Prairie View A&M equates to him being a "ridiculously good pass rusher" at the NFL level. I mean come on, yes he showed some promise, but really?

I've always rooted for this kid. He played at my alma mater, West Texas State University....errrrrrrr.....West Texas A&M now.

I went to HS with him the guy is fast I also saw him play with the Desperados.
