Yeah, he's really making Scandrick expendable. Plus oscans unwillingness to tackle is hurting the secondary a bit. If you watch him, he'll take angles so he doesn't have to do anything physical (and that's generally when you get hurt, half assing arm tackles). Which is a shame because he beat out Jenkins back in 2008-09 with his tenacity. He's made his money and now won't leave it all on the line

I dunno... maybe he makes Scandrick expendable. Maybe he doesn't because of the contract situations of Carr & Claiborne. Replacing one CB isn't the end of the world. Replacing 3 would not be a lot of fun. Plus Scandrick's contract/cap hit for '17 isn't huge.

Give the man a chance to get healthy and up to speed,,, sheesh, you act like he hasn't been one of our best defenders over the years.
He was one of our best defenders. I don't know if he'll ever be like he was again.

Waiting for someone to get healthy is how Romo lost his job to Dak. Now Scandrick is losing his job to Brown. Like Romo said, nothing is a given in this league, it can pass you by, especially if a younger and much cheaper player is taking your position

Again, DB depth, it's a good thing. They're not letting go of Scandrick unless they've got another

And then what, we go into next season with 3 corners and two scrubs? Add cornerback to our list of offseason needs and hope one pans out? Not a viable plan.

I like the kid, seems to always be in position. He's doing well for someone that's learning on the job.

Keeps improving and he's future starter quality, imo. Great pick.

Scandy isn't going anywhere. His base next year is 3 mill. That's dirt cheap for corners, especially with the cap prolly going up again.

We have Carr and Claiborne to deal with in the offseason, that's enough.

Yeah, cuz DB depth is overrated... o_O
Over and over again our fans want to get rid of depth. It is the craziest thing that I have ever witnessed. Considering the strength of the 90's teams was our depth.

You've seen enough of Scandrick over the years to know that something's not right with him. It's not a skill thing, it's a health thing.

And for now, it should also be a bench thing. Can't play in post season with him imitating Gollum out there. Bring in some DBs to work out after Skins. It's 11 on 10 with him out there. It will eventually bite us if we don't do something soon.

Big time draft class. At the very least, a franchise QB, the best RB in the league and a starting caliber CB in one draft. Collins is a serviceable starting DT. If J.Smith ever gets healthy...oh baby!!
yup, that's about the long and short of it

freaking awesome

Scandrick is hobbled and needs to heal at this point - Washington will torch him if he plays on Thursday.
