When a person is running really really fast they can't jump as high.
In most jump ball situations the shortest guy is going to lose.

Brown has been good everywhere else except of the go routes. He'll lose on a jump ball go route all day. That's why some DC's go out and get the bigger CB's. But I'd still love to have Brown back next year as a slot CB. He's not as bad as some make him out to be.
This comment is the closest to reality. . Brown is solid

I believe he will be a FA after the season, and his play is not worth an extension. Money used better elsewhere.
Of course . . . Unless He gives a hometown discount . . . And depending on how we end the season . . . He May . . . But Corner must be addressed next year . . . Fingers crossed one falls to us. . . But assuming He can easily be replaced is nonsense . . . There is a reason he is still here and the Number 2 CB (to Aaidan's Daddy) on a Dominate defense

Rodgers showed the league how to exploit Him and on one play it happened again . . . That's alright Brown is still my guy. . . And we will miss him when He is gone.

You wanna save money so I guess The Boys will have to use a 1st Rd pick on one next year

There is a reason he is balling with This dominate defense despite His physical limitations . . . And it can't be measured . . . it's His heart.

The Boys should have already drafted His replacement by now and He should be in the slot . . . Yet here he is playing His heart out and you act like He is a dime a dozen

Brown will continue to be a target because folks shy away from Diggs
He’s average at best but unfortunately he’s our best option at the moment
*** is with our high draft picks in Joseph and Wright
Their development don’t seem to be happening

You nailed it buddy.

I have always liked Brown, CB's are always gonna give up plays because rules are now skewed so much towards the offense. the value we have gotten out of him is one of the best over the last several years. I also like him much better in the slot, with his speed, early in his career, I thought he would grow into a star at the slot.

They needed a way to get Lewis on the field so Brown was put into a position he's not as good at. But he's been a good soldier and always plays hard. At maybe the hardest position in football, outside of QB.

:thumbup:You are exactly right and your reference to Lewis is spot on . . . I could never complain about Brown and I keep waiting for us to move Him inside . . . to bad Boss man is what He is. . . Brown has been a great Cowboy . . . I am a fan

Its either they throw the ball at Brown or go after Diggs. Who would you challenge.

I'd have to watch that play again, but I think the receiver used his hands to keep Brown from leaping off the ground for the ball. That's why the receiver got so high over Brown. Cute trick. But it was a perfectly thrown ball too. Brown was in position to make a play. I was surprised the Giants did not try the same play later in the game.

he's not the number one need right now, we need a whale in the middle of the defensive line.

I’m targeting a first round corner in the draft this year. Or a big DT but lord knows we don’t go for those that early…

That’s the truth.

I like Brown more than most but we need to upgrade. Lots of really good CB talent this upcoming draft (Cam Smith, Devon Witherspoon, etc.).
CB or DT in the 1st if you have the option and both have similar talent level at their position?
